This presupposes a universe where Yao Ming is not a good rebounder, Yao Ming is not a great shot blocker and Yao Ming doesn't play better postdefense than Howard.

The gap offensively between them is larger than the gap defensively.

Yao has way more offensive SKILLS...

But his FRAME is an accident waiting to happen during an 81 game season....

And DWIGHT can really DOMINATE a game W/O scoring....

but the thing with Yao, he might not block shots like Dwight, jump around like dwight but Yao changes alot of shots
