doubt they will be as good and comfortable as the originals. i love the white/black/red and the sharks
not that heavy... at all i used them for ball religiously. very good shoes. wouldnt enjoy them now since i hate anything other than lows. lows>>>>>
II's > for me in the Kobe line when it comes to ball. That grip, lock down feel and zoom air bouncing under my feet was reddic.
Yeah, the ZK1s weren't that heavy...maybe by the current Kobe line's standards, but they aren't really any heavier than your average basketball shoe. Certainly lighter than most Lebrons and some Jordans. I loved playing in the ZK1s though.
they just need to make a retro of the best balling shoes ever the Kobe Vs dont care what any of you say. i really wish i bought up 10 pairs of them biggest regret
I remember getting the Maize AZK1's when they first dropped. I beat those shoes up. A great shoe. Had the MPLS colorway and shark fin's. Very excited to see this and very surprised they're already getting retro'd.
Black Mambas, White Tips or Sharks, All Star 2006....... Loved and tore up each of them adn still regret not keeping them to this day but they were beyond beaters. I only care for 2 zk1's these days IF they decide to make: and my fave 1 weschesters
It is a great shoe and very durable but ou're nuts imo. After wearing the IV's and so on it's night and day with the weight of the shoe.
This may not be Popular Opinion, but I think that's a TYPO. Something just tells me that the Timing, Lack of previous info or Rumor, Randomness, and the fact they didn't use "Retro" in that Title, just doesn't add up. I could be wrong... but you heard it here first.
Only had the Black Out Kobe 1. I wasn't s big fan of the shoe but I thought that colorway was nice, me being a Laker fan and all.
hmmmm, am i the only one that just doesnt see this happening? makes no sense. why would they retro kobes before they retro brons? im sure theres alot more money to be made in releasing the zoom gen's before the zk1's. if they do actually release, theyll be super limited. sides kob fans, these wont move...

Remember I had the Blackout 1s from an outlet for 35$ in the 8th grade... Man I beat those to the ground. Loved them so much. Regret not having a pair anymore. Especially when your Filipino, that $35 makes the shoe that much sweeter. Parents were overjoyed
Just read a blurb, we'll call it a rumour until there's any confirmation, that Nike is retro'ing Kobe 1-6... all before the 9 releases in Jan/Feb. FWIW...
Would be more than happy to get a shot at the 3s. I know it ain't everyone's favorite lol but buy what you like Also a great way (IMO) of taking off some of the frustration and thirst for a IX til February.
