Semi-unrelated but I guess its safe to assume the first Kobe 9 is coming 2/1/14?

    Oh man...

maybe KOBE (3) III's in Engineered Mesh without the Waffle Pattern...?!

Those were made for a EM Retro.  [IMG]

Yo, with the new developments... should this go from a "Zoom Kobe I Retro" thread & turn into a "Kobe Prelude Retros" Thread?

Wow I hope the "prelude" goes up to the VIIs(I don't care if some of you hated them but I like them ). Need more IVs and Vs too. They gotta put them on the US release calendar. Don't get us excited just to be an EU release.

Not sure how I feel about this. Leave the 1, 4, and 5 alone. As long as they don't change the materials or anything I'll be fine with it. Like one "prelude" color way per model

You guys, they are releasing his sig line up until the release of the Kobe 9.

You are reading too much into things. Just the shoes being re-released leading up to something more important. No changes in design, maybe colors, but not the designs of the original shoes.

It just doesnt make sense. Why release the shoes now for the 9? Why not do it for the 10?

Or maybe its his last sig shoe [IMG]

The discussion probably went: Kobe tore his achilles > he might be out for a while > we might need to push the IX back > let's fill the time with some retroes

I think especially cause this 9 is going to be a radically new revolution/evolution in his sig line, they are really trying to build anticipation for it by releasing these kobe preludes

zkIII's needed absolutely no alterations. more colorways would been nice tho.

anyway, just sounds like theyre remixing an earlier kob sig.

like one of you said, expect flywire or EM. please dont be foolish enough to expect actual leather...

Ahhhhh, so excited. I still have a few pairs of I's and II's, but a Retro is welcome! Hopefully they are good quality and still perform.

The Kobe I is my go to shoe because of back problems. The cushioning is unbelievable. Kobe II's feel like pillows under feet.

I lost or destroyed every Kobe 1-3, all my kicks are 4-8. I need these retros (if they look decent) like I need Aqua 8 and Playoff 9s in my mj collectoin to fill out. 1-8 kobes and 1-14 jordans finally finished!!

comon nike... you screwed us on some nice 8s, now give us some nice retros!!!

One shoe a week :wow: :x

Glad I skipped some of the shoes that I was on the fence about...

I love the silhouette of the 3. If they are indeed switching materials I'm interested to see it on the 3.
