New material on the 1-3 would be nice. They were kinda on the heavy side. I could see it happen as they did it to some of the recent classic runners.

 

This thread is certainly heating up!

Once again, my only wish is that there are original materials used, not some lifestyle/EM/no sew/whatever else. Just give me the shoe, built properly.

all i had were the ASG 1's. one of my favorite ball shoes ever. i wish i picked up more pairs especially when they were in outlets. 2s and 3s never came out around me, so i hope i get a shot at those two.

 

Its a Great time for the Kobe line....Can't wait for Pics. Hopefully next week!

Sneaker design is art man, and it isn't unusual for people to have to grow to a place where they can appreciate intelligent art. As long as it's not a bunch of little kids claiming Kobe III's are the best and driving resale prices up on existing pairs, there should be no problem with this.

 

I told myself I'd ignore this retro but if they implement Flyknit...all bets are off.

 

I'm one of those people. Whereas today I can applaud the ambition, in 08 I had nothing but hate for the shoe. In hindsight I really feel like what it needed more than anything were better colorways. Something akin to the Black/maize model.

 

That would be amazing if this happens and if I can attain them.

 

Personally, I don't think it is reasonable for them to implement flyknit on the retro models. For instance, the 6's key feature is the snake skin upper. If you get rid of that it's a much different looking shoe. It wouldn't be a retro, it would be a different variation of the shoe all together. I don't see that happening.
