Colors on the actual shoe are spot-on the Mag. The midsole splatter is teal like it's supposed to be. The Lava is the proper Mag teal. Outsole is full icy, not just the toe like the mock-up. Those lines whoever made that mock-up drew onto the heel padding are way exaggerated. I think it's just more of the corduroy looking fabric that's on the Lavas. Tongue tag is multicolored to represent the Mag's lights. As always, things could change from what I saw to production.

Damn, you got me extremely interested. But it being an Air Mag colorway and it dropping to coincide with the US Open tells me it's going to be extremely limited - which means be prepared to be disappointed

So here's the thing, I didn't read it as it being a US Open exclusive, just inspired by/the theme of. But, I know someone who DID take it that way. I'm assuming we won't know for sure until the summer.

Technically the Air Mags were from BTTF part 2 which came out in 1989, same as the ATC II. Thats the only correlation I’m aware of

That’s what I did. Had rewards points was like $70 otd.

Always wanted a pair as a kid. I opened the box and the retro box got me. I opened it and grinned. The tag tho, totally forgot about the tag. Took me back 35 years or so. (i know it’s not hot lava) That nike air tag meant everything to a teen back in the day. The full enclosed one was platinum level compared to the normal skinny plastic one. People would steal them. The shoes were so beyond fresh at school.

Agassi was something else too and the marketing was brilliant. Tinker doesn’t miss.
