Bruh they hated those too, I remember when people were using magic erasers to get rid of the stains on the midsole. I aint saying that isn't true lol if I could pull up the replies on some of the scrutiny I got, I would. I'm not saying I'm a trendsetter. I was just an early adopter, my influence was from seeing how the Japanese Sneakerheads would wear theirs into the ground but they'd still look nice. I liked it so I started doing it to select pairs.

I had those AJKO's. They had a vintage version with the midsole and then a version without it. I grabbed the vintage version ya tu sabe.

^^^^ so I’ve been watching hella videos on YT on these and man it’s a wrap. Has Nike released “official” pics yet? Cuz it’s about to be wild.

95% or more of the videos for these “early” pairs all have the bold elephant print and no widows park. There’s only been a few that I’ve seen with the widows peak and thin elephant print line patterns like on the ones from ZSneakerhead.

It’s gonna be spooky cuz if all these early pairs are reps, sheesh. It’s gonna come down to really looking at a retail vs fake pair. Y’all gonna have to be careful.

My boy is getting an early pair so when he does I’ll snap pics of what he got. If you don’t hit on footsites its gonna be a gamble for sure.

Nah shape variation is minimal. That was hyperbole.

Obviously elephant print is varying which I'm worried about but is inevitable. Wish I could get 3 pairs and mix/match the best. Be lucky to just get one.

The YT videos from the oversea factory sellers are egregiously fake and clearly distinguishable from the official images. Clear distinctions are the print lines are too thick, the print pattern has too much density, the print color is a shade darker, the toe is rather boxey and the toe print is too high and doesn't correctly taper off on the sides.

Just my initial analysis.

EP variation is common for WC3s. Just go look at all the used pairs on GOAT most of them have both super thick and thin lines on the same shoe

Looking at all those pairs after you pointing it out the EP drop off on the toe isn’t as rounded as the official images. It’s got an almost L shape.

That’s the one thing I roll my eyes about with these reimagined releases. I don’t really even mind the “vintage” look, but Nike is inventing a type of aging that never even happens. Like the cracked white leather on L&Fs. But whatever, I still enjoy those and will enjoy these even more. But it’s silly when you stop and think about it. It’s like Nike saying, here’s how we WISHED these shoes aged
