I never said they weren't better, they just don't stand out to me as much as the other ones do. I don't know Kendrick as well as I know J. Cole, so I may miss some of his songs, but does he rap about Hip hop? I'm not talking about the rap, I'm talking about the culture.

Have you ever listened to Macklemore with that purpose? He delivers music so amazingly that it gives me goosebumps. The only songs that were ever able to do that for me other than Mackles are HiiiPower and Born Sinner. Having that said, So many of Mackle's songs give me those chills. Neon...
