i was going to do it but i found it cheaper to just build a computer and install windows home server (WHS) on it. i have a microsoft technet subscription that includes a WHS license so i didn't have to buy one. if you have a lot of hard drives then it's easier to just setup a cheap computer...

if i wanted to get an e-reader, i'd get the nook because of the price and it supports epub format. if you look, you can get all the books available online. i've got 600+ books free and paid but i don't read enough to buy an e-reader just yet. i'll wait a while.
