Not as comfortable as other 5’s. Something keeps
digging into the first knuckle on the tops of my big toes. It helps when I tie them a little tighter than normal. Keeps my foot from sliding forward.
Been wearing my Dawn pair for a few days and they’re killin the tops of my feet, right above the first knuckle of the big toe. Never had this problem with other V’s in the same size. Look amazing tho. Getting some interesting toe box creases. Hopefully they get more comfy as they break in.
Crazy to me it’s been 3 years since these dropped! Feels like yesterday. They were basically sitting for a few days everywhere around here. The 5 is my favorite model, but I passed on principle. Swore to myself that I would never condone Nike charging $220 for a retro Jordan. Oh how times have...
Already have 3 pairs and was soooo tempted pull the trigger again seeing them sitting on NDC. This is feasting time for those who could give two f**k’s about hype.
OG Black metallic 5 was my first and favorite Jordan.
I laugh at myself now for passing on the 2016 retro. At the time I told myself there was no way in hell anyone is paying $220 for a Jordan 5. I was convinced we were sending a message to JB by letting that release sit on shelves. Lol
If it’s true that Nike is repainting and re-releasing pairs, would the repainted midsoles be more, or less durable than the original soles?
I got one pair from the initial drop, and a 2nd pair from the SNKRS restock. The restock pair appears to have a thicker layer of paint on the midsole...
All I want is: 1) Shape 2) Materials and 3) Colorway.
If JB combines those 3 elements into one shoe, I will double up and buy two excellent $200 shoes from JB every 3 years. By putting out quality product, JB gets $400 of my money every 3 yrs.
If JB splits those 3 desirable elements into 3...
Damn these Zoom Craters are super uncomfortable for me. I went true to size and they killing my pinky toes. This material just doesn’t feel good. I don’t think I would even like it 1/2 size up.
Something about the zoom just doesn’t feel right either. I usually love zoom, but this implementation...
Has anyone been successful in getting Nike customer support to apply the $20 birthday reward to Launch day items?
I got shot down on the customer chat. Do you think it’s a waste of time to keep trying?
