You didn't get a guaranteed size? That doesn't sound like a won raffle at all. In a real raffle, you have a pair of shoes of the size you designated on your ticket set aside for you, guaranteed.

Well today is raffle day ... got 8 tickets in at FA, Finish Line, Champs, and FootLocker. I get to sit around with my phone next to me all day long, dead silent while employees at those stores call their friends and family and whoever bribed them the most to tell them they "won" the raffles, LOL.

Yes, demand will still outstrip supply by a huge margin. For anyone who doesn't have a friend working at a store, isn't willing to pay at least $100 over retail, or who hasn't bribed someone, it's going to be a cop you have to work for.

That's my belief as well. I've signed up for raffles but don't expect a call back, and not just because of the odds. The raffle procedures seem absurdly easy for employees to rig. Wouldn't surprise me if my ticket went straight into a trash can as soon as I walked out the door. But what ya...

I was at University Mall in Tampa for the Snakeskins. They passed out tickets in the parking lot at 6 AM and it was packed. Lots of sheriff's deputies out there though so everything was in good order. I arrived too late to cop, though.

That's the plan: If the raffles don't pan out, then online it shall be. Will leave no stone unturned, LOL, given my constraints which are "too old to camp in a parking lot", and "won't pay more than retail".

Where in hell do you get guaranteed tickets? My local Champs in Baton Rouge only does raffles, which are just tickets that go into a hopper (allegedly, LOL) and then you have to hope your number is drawn.

It's always the official Nike release day retail price (or less) for me, or bust. Has been for 20 years now and always will be.
