The College Basketball Post

9-5 life. Which for him can be considered a success story. His brother was an informant for the police and got exposed. Apparently he got jammed up for a drug charge and the police used him to snitch on a bunch of people. He ended up moving to Cali. His whole family had to leave their hood in fear someone was going to take it out on them.

They were both high major d-1 locks but couldn't escape the streets. ****** were smoking pcp like it was hookah.
I remember toward the end of the year we played at National Christian. Anothny Grant offered Eric on the spot for VCU, E had no interest at all.

Dude never got back on the bus to come back to Va Beach. We had like 8 more games to play. Dude said f it. I knew for sure he was lost to the streets. Can't believe dude has a regular gig. He's in Cali too?

I told some friends about the DC assault documentary, because a couple of them played, and they were discussing how James White was robbed for MVP at the Bob Gibbons tournament and how they beat Kwame Brown's team and how he was such a beast. Was a huge fan of Val Brown (DC Assault, GW) as a kid

In college news Vanderbilt center Damian Jones confirmed he was going to the NBA after this season.

man Gary Williams saw through this AAU stuff but it killed him recruiting wise. Maryland should have that Pipeline flowing, but being burned by UConn for Rudy Gay was the nail in the coffin.
Yea I know Gary was trying keep his hands and the program clean but he has to get with the times ....excellent on the court coach but I got tired of watching 2 star players all the time by the end of his time at umd

And his attempt at recruiting Rudy was an absolute mess  , ended up with that tall bum will bowers :smh:

So he was bubbles?

I'm still laughing at that one  ... the way Tony & Leel was going back and forth with their convo then Retro jumps in with the fitting Bubbles comment :wow:

You know Cal would bring that up in every interview possible.

"Being the assistant coach of the US men's basketball team really taught me how to attack the Vandy defense we saw today."

Can't see Pop wanting Cal anywhere near his staff... Too much of a distraction. :smh:
You know Pop has a sense of humor and likes to do things his own way. I could see him getting a kick out of the circus Cal would bring to the whole thing.
