Post Your New Eras*59-Fiftys*etc... VOL. INFINITY NOW W/ Henz0/Thunderchunk/Icy's FAQ ON PG.1

Don't know if you guys are familiar with Mickey's Place. It's a shop across the street from the Baseball HOF in Cooperstown. Best hat store ever, IMO.
Nearly exhaustive collection of current and historic MLB and MiLB hats. (I don't play that non-authentic team colors, non on-field hat nonsense.)
Anyway, Mickeysplace.com is the website. 20% off throughout the weekend. Code is MPF12
...Need to take pics of my collection one of these days.

Wish I saw this over the weekend. I'm not spending 41 on a fitted :smh:

These were my most "recent" pickups:

These new era NFL hats are in the same category as MLB on fields poly trash,.

I am waiting for someone to retro them with a wool build frame.

and i cant do a dolphins hat , i am a die hard cowboys fan.

I really need that navy commonwealth hat. so dope. Im going back and forth on dropping 50 bucks for a hat.

France and Germany are the best ones, IMO.

I'll probably be picking up at least Germany. But, overall, the logos on the front are too big, IMO. It's salvageable when the team's logo is only 1 letter, but when it's more than that, it looks too crowded.

i know alotta y'all don't mess with leather fitteds, and i don't mess with jeremy scott. but i gots to have this.

What's up, y'all. Just want to share most of my collection. I only mess with on-field fitteds - 90% of my collection is baseball and that's all I'll post here. Joints can be current, throwback, minor league, special edition - as long as they were worn on the field. Those are just my rules for me. For me, hats really are about sports. I'm a huge sports fan and a baseball historian. I'm write for - and spent about two years helping to run - the sabermetric/history/analysis/fantasy baseball site, The Hardball Times, which recently merged with Fangraphs to create a baseball geek superpower (though, both sites retain their autonomy).

Anyway, here's what I'm holding. The camera is really turning up the red, so the color is off. And, I didn't realize when I put up the shelves that the middles would bow after years... I should have done two rows of shorter shelves. Live and learn, whatever, off we go -

NL East

NL Central

NL West

AL East

AL Central

AL West

props for sticking to your guns. i like too many logos and color ways to stick to baseball or on-field only

Didn't know there was a Corgihat.

Law of averages states there should be some nice stuff in there. Probably a crap load of junk (to us) too, though.

BIP,

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats "Primaries" fitted is mean. That one is next for my rotation. I've been looking at it for a while.

Thanks.

My wife works for MLB.com and does a fair amount of traveling to minor league parks (she's actually in Germany now for the WBC qualifiers). She usually brings me back a hat from her visits. I have a side gig there too, but I don't travel for them because it's only a part-time/seasonal thing for me there.

Not to derail the thread, but what exactly do you all do with the site and how did you get your foot in the door?

^ But, is there anybody on that squad worth repping if you aren't from H-town?

...Jose Altuve?

I guess you could try to get a blank and customize.
