love bloc party, "silent alarm" is one of the greatest albums i have heard, but after that, they have been worrying me. "A weekend in thecity" was a decent album, i only like tracks 1-7. And "Intimacy" was a pretty big letdown for me, after giving it more spins its not bad but itsnot the bloc party i got excited about from "silent alarm".

I made one of these threads right after Intimacy came out and it flopped

Oh well. One of my favorite bands ever and some of the nicest guys you couldmeet. Really cool, down to earth people that don't carry the somewhat 'celebrity' attitude whatsoever. Certainly appreciated...

I like Bloc Party, but hated "A Weekend In the City" save for a couple of songs. Still have yet to hear "Intimacy" though

banquet, sunday, the prayer (does it offend you yeah remix), two more years (mstrkrft remix) all get heavy play by me

Hey_

Love this group. Silent Alarm is my favorite album, followed closely by Intimacy, Weekend in the City is third for me.

I'd like to interview these cats.

Big fan of their work, my buddy showed me them a couple years ago and I've been listening since.

Bloc Party>______+ Their Mothers

Ok maybe a little basis but yes My favorite band even though Intimacy hasnt moved me but I refuse to believe it isnt great so I'm gonna listen to it til Ithink it's great or I become deaf. I don't even know where to begin with my favorite songs so I'll post some you may not heard

EDIT: In the library someone put em Bloc Party-Uniform (live from Coachella for added points) & Hunting For Witches (Crystal Castles Remix) please

One of my favorite bands definitely appreciated
- Banquet of course triggered my love for this band
- Silent Alarm is by far their best piece of work (favorite track is Modern Love)

Like everyone else said...Silent Alarm is by far their best work...Helicopter,Pioneers and Plans aremy favs(but all are great songs)...I think AWITC gets a bit of a bad rap...its still pretty good with songs like Waiting for the 7.18 and I StillRemember...but you guys need to hear all the B-Side songs...they are waaay better than what they had on their album..Rhododendron and Vision of Heaven trumpalmost any other song they have on that album...Intimacy is cool too.its grown on me...Trojan Horse,Signs and Letter To My Son are really nice

These guys are amazing live I might add. I saw them in 2007 @ the Wilton (Los Angeles). Then this year in August I saw them at the Mayan and PomonaGlasshouse. Does it Offend You Opened for them.

Awesome concert! Atthe concert they did the cover for Prince's "I will Die for You". I wish they had that recorded. It was an amazing cover in their own style.

Now I must tell everyone who likes Bloc Party to get all the "B-Sides". They can place the best of the best from the B-Sides and make an album asgood as Silent Alarm.

I didn't like Intimacy at first but after a few listens, I actually appreciate the change of pace. Do I prefer it over the original style? No. HoweverI've got an endless of B-Sides to over look it.

If you haven't heard "SKELETON". You're missing out!
