next to the definition of definition because repetition is the father of learning" Decipher please.

Decipher?

Lil Wayne does drugs and says things that sound witty "in a maze, so i'm amazing" but are completely nonsensical in nature.

yeah um. i tried to "decipher" this metaphor n that crap got me confusing.

speaking lyricly and trying to think of it: here's my reasoning:

my picture should be in the dictoinary next to the definition of definition (could be saying he is the definition of define, or something along the lines ofnothing can define him because he is himself, liek. he is the only one of his kind. something like that? u get me?)

because repition is the father of learning ( stating a fact? and trying to say there's no way to define "lil wayne" little bit of a paradox andrepeating what he said in the frist line, essentialy repeating his repeat)

yeah. i tried...

laugh.gif
aint nothin to decipher the two lines are actually kinda hot but they don't have a correlation...son's just rambling

My question is does Wayne really have kids scratching their heads like "huh" trying to figure his none sense out, thinking he's hella deep? Itwould make a lot of sense.

The lines don't really have correlation with one another. "My picture should be in the dictionary next to the definition of defintion:" he'sbasically saying he defines his craft (hip-hop) and usually when dictionaries use pictures they are meant to be used as an example. So if Weezy's face wasnext to the definition of definition (
roll.gif
that I'm saying this so much) then it would be showed as a definition of a craft (IE: hip-hop).

And "because repition is the father of learning" is just him basically saying practice makes perfect .. You are never gonna learn or master anythingwithout repeating it.

The lines really aren't at all that hot ...

o i get it ... because wayne said it, it cant have a deeper meaning ... but i guess money cash #%@+ had a hot hook too ...

I'll say it again and again ... If Wayne wants to try on a track he's one of the best in the game. This dude knows he can get on anytrack and say whatever the hell he wants and he's gonna sell ... He's got the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality right now. Wayne is FAR from wack.

Damn that was a far reach.

Trust me...that line doesn't mean !+%$.

^^ lol.. I'm sure yall know what "definition" means... Like.. "wow, thattelevision is in high DEFINITION" or... "That painting has so much DEFINITION it's unreal!"... Think of the word in that sense. Thenthink of wayne as being THE definition. NOW you see where he's going? Definition is basically anything that is. Wayne is saying that he's basicallyanything that's something.

Wow, I always interpreted as something different. The two lines were never correlated to me.

"Next to the definition of definition" ya'll got it, he defines hip hop.

But then the "because repetition is the father of learning" always went with the line after it, "and son I know your barrle burning, but pleasedon't shoot me down"

Because he's shot himself before, so he's learned not to do that.

Like I said...

Trust me...I'm more than fairly intelligent, and well aware of the various meanings of the word...and that line still doesn't mean @%%+. Its masked inlayers of vagueness, but underneath...there's still nothing there.

what? Wayne hasn't been wack the last few years? on the premise of "he could be spittin but he knows he doesn't have to," ?that's absolutely ridiculous. For the most part, what you said is true aside from that last sentence, which is a damn shame and it reflects on Wayne as anartist far more than any, "dear mr toliet, im the +#@%" garbage !%* rhyme he puts out.

You are honestly telling me that if you could have artistic integrity and respect from the greatest of your peers and still be able to put outignorant, effortless music and make millions you wouldn't do it?

Wayne isn't exactly qualifying for artistic integrity in my book right now, N's had the nerve to talk about Common sold out by doing those GAP adds theother day, Wayne and his recent antics are the definition of selling out. Who says he has respect from the greatest of his peers? Who ever told you that needsto get smacked. We don't know how artist really feel about him, it's a damn business, just because someone hops on a track with him doesn't mean#%%#. Find me an interview where a self respecting artist says Wayne is the best rapper alive or states that he's better than themselves, I'm notbuying it.

And to answer your question, no i wouldn't do what Wayne has done. It's not like son was on hard times, he's been a millionaire for years. Imagineif Wayne had put out C3 at the peak of his mixtape hype, say right after Drought 2 when son had the best of both worlds. Dude was tearing #%%# up and had allthe tiny boppers hanging from his nuts, C3 might not have done the same number but it would have done damn well, definitely would have went platinum. Ican't believe you guys are OK with Wayne's selling out, assuming the rest of you agree with D723 in that he's put out IGNORANT, EFFORTLESS, UTTERLYLACKING OF SUBSTANCE music for MONEY the past few years.

smh.gif
this aint how the game is supposed to be played folks

This is what happens when dumb people try to be smart. After reading this post I just kept saying to myself, the definition of definition and all I got was aheadache. It's just a bad line that sounds cool when he say it but has no meaning.

wow what are yall talking about? what the $+#% are you talking about substance and meaning for?

the line is good for what it is. If Jay-Z said it yall would be all over it.
