Where do you rank Bone Thugs as far as groups go? I'm attending a Bone concert here in Denver tonight, (its my brother's xmas gift dude loves bonestill) and it got me thinking about how much they had the scene on lock back in the 90's. For a while these dudes were on a whole different level. One ofmy favorite groups of all time (Outkast is my fav), but wanted to see where you all feel their legacy puts them.

I listed some facts to put them into perspective:
Albums
-Bone Thugs-n-Harmony are also the only artists to do acts with 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun, and Eazy-E while they were still alive.
-"Creepin' on a Come up" 3x Platinum by the RIAA selling 2.8 million copies in the United States alone.
-"E.1999 Eternal" has sold over 6 million copies in the United States.
-"The Art Of War" was certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA, with each disc counted. The album sold 1.6 million copies in the U.S.
-"BTNHResurrection" was certified Platinum by the RIAA selling a total of 1.5 million copies.

Awards
Grammy--Best rap performance by duo or group 1997
AMA--Favorite Hip-Hop group or band 1998,2007

damn right. one of the greatest imo. Bone Thugs were responsible for puttin me on to rap. the first rap cassette i had was E. 1999. Eternal

They had a great run in the late 90s but they're definitely not top 10 material in terms of groups.

In no particular order:
Outkast
The Roots
De La Soul
Gangstarr
EPMD
Wu Tang
Tribe
Clipse
Mobb Deep
Fugees
Goodie Mob
UGK

Definitely one of the best...I remember going into Fred Meyers as a kid, trying to buy Crossroads, and being rejected by the Cashier lady. She was trying totell me how it was explicit and there was an ager requirement to buy CD's like that....that's where older siblings are appreciated.

They're actually one of the only dudes that did tracks with Pac, Biggie, and Pun. That's while they were alive.

Bone Thugs should definitely be considered when it comes to "all time" rankings. The G's definitely love em.

clipse>bone thugs lyrically , but as far as impact these dudes were A HUGE part of hip hop even into the 2000's i got dudes that barelymess with rap that got cd's from the 90's. they have a cult following and even did pretty good with there last album

i think them being in an alltime list would be hard buy but they had definitely had the game lock in the 90's

HHNF > any Bone Thug album hands down.

Personally, there top 3 for me. But I think they should be in everyone's top 10. Fugees? Clipse? Are y'all serious?

I personally love the first 3 Bone Albums as much as ANY other self respecting hip hop fan.

That being said, they deserve to be mentioned with the top 10 groups of all time . . .

No way in hell is Bone better than Mobb Deep (it must be an Ohio thins cause all these dudes at work agree with the BS TIME is spewing)
