Upgrading indeed my friends. I seriously never knew they were that comfortable.

When I attempt to glue the carbon fiber plate back, would I use some gorilla glue? I have used it before when gluing jordan soles. 

gorilla glue should do the trick. Just make sure those kicks will be a casual pair and not for playing sports (for obvious reasons).

On another note,

These are starting to hit NY craigslist. Im not feeling these too much. The grooves are non-existant with all these polk-a-dots. Looking like dalmation foams

Well obviously it's your choice. If you were considering crimson 3s and fire red 4s you must like the fighter jets enough to even consider that trade. I wouldn't trade anything in my collection for them but that's me. If it's worth it to you do it.

I'm not sure if theyre still around, but they definitely hit that price. I contemplated it till I realized I could only cop cause of the price rather than colorway.

The straps are really soft/rubbery actually, but they probably still gonna crack when I wear them...
