i'm not one to make these type of posts but right I dont know how to feel

This came out of the freakin blue, we have alot of different views as far as money goes...I live more by the motto you cant take it with you as long as youarent putting yourself in debt and what not and I think it caused alot of tension but she contradicts what she says...ex. her car payment is double mine

I'm confused, mad, upset, all at the same time and now I get the pleasure of calling my family on Xmas eve and telling them I will be solo on Christmas

I just had to vent b/c everyone other minute I go from wanting to break something to sadness and back

I literally thought this was the one but now I kinda sit back and put things in perspective, im not so sure i'm not better off going back to the singlelife

just curious...what are you doing about saving for retirement?
do you plan on working for the rest of your life?

did you break up with her or she break up with you?

she broke up with me

right now I have an IRA and my 401K from work...I dont spend money like it would seem, I'm actually pretty good with money...im just trying to pay off mystudent loans right now, I have about $45k but I have it down to about $28k in a year and a half

I've only been out of school 2 years in May, I didn't start until I was 21
 
Did she say it was specifically about finances?

i have lost count how many times she dumped me......out the blue.
 
she is the one with debt from bad decisions not me

she has about $10k in credit card debt left she is working on and b/c of it she never finished her degree

she broke up with me

ah..good for you then. But you should also look into other retirement strategies.
Paying off your student loans is a wise choice. Make sure that any extra is going towards your principle though

no no, she doesnt want me to pay off her debt at all...i think it has just clouded her judgement whenever you spend money on anything and her Dad is very tightwith the wallet and acts like the country is going to hell b/c Obama was elected and she buys his crap yet she still voted for him

sorry to hear that ... i can only imagine what it would be like to get dumped on xmas eve ... especially when i read that line about telling your family aboutbeing solo cuz my folks love my girl too ...

better to cut bait now so you still have your life ahead of you ...


edit ... nevermind about the money thing, i misinterpreted the situation ... im with your girl when it comes to gifts ... if i dont speak to you on a regularbasis then youre probably not getting a very expensive gift ... maybe a creative card idea or something ...

you areyouin729......................your girl is buggin. i dont really feel this is the reason why she dumpin you out the blue...........something is notadding up? maybe she just havin one of those moments right now how girls do sometimes an shell be saying sorry very soon or there is something else going on.

you got dumped for no reason on xmas eve at that. fishy imo
 
This could be good for you, just take it as a lesson learned, try to look at the positives in this matter. If it's mean to be then you two will crosspaths again.
