That doesnt quite have the "NT" stamp on it though....Im down, I got maaaaad clothes that I dont wear...

It can have the NT stamp on it if we can get at least, lets say 100 people to donate? That'd be 100 more Niketalkers that would donate than they would otherwise (I don't know If I'm making sense right now, drifting in and out of conscienceness so bare with me please).
word, I dont see the importance of having any stamp on it. As long as we help out the needy, we dont need any type of recognition.

I see what you're saying....I give stuff away to goodwill every month, I just thought the OP wanted it to be like an official NikeTalk donation...like moreorganized...you feel me?

Bingo! when it comes to giving, recognition is nice, but not needed. Shippin and all that cost money, even only a few dollars, but it doesnt seem to be worthit when you can just dropp it off yourself.

we could all just drop them off at the local Goodwill and call it a day.

What if we already donate our old clothes to charity. I've been doing it for two years. Clean out my closet, and the rest of the fam is involved, oncearound June and the other time after Thanksgiving. I got tired of old clothes/blankets/shoes/etc. just piling up and taking up space.

Great idea. I just donated like 4 huge trashbags full of old clothes. I'm sure I can still round up some old things that I just don't use anymore.

Mods can we get a sticky?

I think the perfect date to kick this off would be January 2nd (first Friday) and we could end this on January 4th.

So that would give us 3 days to do this. Within 3 days we can all get out and go to our local charities, take pics of the haul ins and post em up. We can seethe difference we made as a community like that.

So Jan 2nd to Jan 4th? (Friday to Sunday) sounds good?

why dont we just take the clothes to our local salvation army?? or clothing dumpster....

if we dropped it off at goodwill, how is that benifting the NikeTalk community though. We're trying to give Nike Talk the good name

I already scheduled a pick up from the Veterans (they pick up donations). I am donating a bag of clothing and around 30 pairs of kicks. I will take pics.

Just think of all those all over prints. I'd be down to donate. I've got a ton of old clothes I don't wear anymore

I give clothes away every month...I guess now that a NTer made an Official thread about it, im supposed to be doingit in the name of NikeTalk?...eff that...I do it because I want to...

why waste money on shipping fees when you could donate it locally?

How about this? Before you donate it, just take a picture of how much donated and post it on NT and say where you donated it to.

No need to waste any more energy than that

Only other option would be if alot of NTers stayed in one city, then take a group picture of the items. But no need for La NTers to ship clothes to NY when Lacitizens would need those clothes. as long as we all are trying , thats all that matters. Salvation Army doesn't need to ship a trophy to Dirty's house
