I listened to Doctors Advocate today (for like the 30th time)...

and it was...

...good... But I haven't heard anything ever from him that has made me get the

face. I mean Nothing is really jaw dropping coming from him except that whole "vibe" he gives off.

Opinions on the game? I mean production wise, I've liked all three albums, but hearing the Game literally spit thesame tired rhymes gets a little tedious at times...

he name drops WAY TO MUCH. i have yet to hear a song that he does with out dropping 100 different names.
 
Game is a very good rapper by todays standards...He gets a lot of unwarranted hate (ill admit the name dropping he od's on, def warrants criticism)

Like you said the production is the high point of his albums but if you really think he rhymes about the same old tired +$@%, I don't know what to tellyou. The Documentary and LAX had more than enough variety. Dude really impressed me with LAX, 16 tracks of piff, the first Game album with no filler,

A lot of varying opinions when it comes to Game, i can't help but think a lot of east coast dudes hate just to hate but it's what ever I enjoy dudesmusic.

I can't think of a mainstream release from a heavyweight that was better than LAX this year.

An overstatement to say the least, the bolded statement leads me to the conclusion that you know you're exaggerating or you've listened to a select fewof his songs.

When it comes to name dropping he does have a history of it, it reached its peak on Doctors Advocate. It's hardly noticeable on LAX and Documentary. Namedropping is almost part of his style and half the time when he does it, it's not talking %#+# or anything, it's really not a problem.

Not that good at all.

Almost every beat off of the Documentary was borrowed and used better by someone else.

but really, game is one of the best to do it. LAX didnt disappoint because he had no fillers..with the exception of the first single 'pain', the namedropping is not OD

overall, i like about 95% of LAX, as opposed to 80% of the doctors advocate. The documentary i think is close to being a classic album with the exception of 2filler tracks

the reason why im a game fan is because of the mixtapes he puts out also, if you can, check out The murdah game chronicles, bang bang radio and others that canbe found at datpiff.com

also, all of the unreleased songs that didnt make LAX have been dropping and the majority of them are pure piffery
 
My favorite rapper since before The Documentary.....He has some songs where he's not on par but 90% he can kill a track. LAX was real nice and easily a top5 album this year.

The Game is my favorite rapper and one of the best in the game right now.

The Documentary was a classic
Doctors Advocate was pretty good.
And I think LAX was the album of the year.
 
He's one of my favorite rappers . His lyrics are just so real &nd dope to me . They're not complex or anything , it seems as if he just raps whathe's thinking at that exact moment even if he's going to contradict himself in the next song .

SOLID. All 3 of his albums were above average IMO. He is in my PERSONAL Top 10. I do agree though that the name dropping can get annoying sometimes, but someof y'all OD on the hate just because of that.

Sums it up...If 50 never wrote This Is How We Do & Hate It Or Love It Game would be nothing more than amixtape rapper...Look at all his hot songs dude is never on the hook...Guy couldn't write a whole song to save his life...at least one thats good
