at first i wasn't going to get these and wait for the wht/blue and the blk ones but the Jordan website with that damn XXI video sold me. Hey I'm a sucker for good advertisement. I'm glad i got em though, no buyer's remorse whatsoever.

the best thing about the fit is that your feet don't slide in the shoe, once you tie the laces down your feet are locked, and you can really feel the difference in two cushioning choices. the worst thing is these damn red laces. JB next time put white laces with my @#%$ please. I mean i did just pay 175

i don't understand why people swear they are cool when they make a right prediction about how long jordan's will/will not be in stores. so you got lucky enough to get em on sale. AND??? if you want to wait, then wait. but don't taint the post w/ useless griping. some of you CLAIM you hate the shoe but then you go and buy it on sale. so that means you bought into the hype too and just aa guilty as those of us who bought on release day. but some of you are gonna come out and say "NAH DOGG, I JUST BOUGHT EM FOR SENTIMENTAL REASONS" when you know the real deal.

Well said. My question to everybody saying "They will hit the sales rack or outlets" is pretty simple, when was the last time a non retro Jordan didn't hit the sales rack or outlets?

^It's funny because if you go back and look at old Eastbay catalogs, even Jordan XIIIs and XIIs went on sale.

The XI were probably the last ones that didn't really hit sales racks.
 
Alot of the Jordans went on sale racks because yall were cheap and didn't want to pay $175. So yall say, "Imma wait till the price goes down." And then everyone seems to like them.
 
Nothing "cheap" about not wanting to spend $175 on shoes. Most people outside of NT would think you're crazy for spending that kind of money on basketball shoes.

The price tag is the least attractive feature of this shoe.

Where are you guys copping the red/black joints from? I've been looking and calling all over. No stores in my area slipped and sold them early...matter of fact I've only found 1 store that even knew there was a red/black colorway and they have no idea if they're going to get them. I know they drop on the 25th for stores with Urban accounts but I can't find any.
 
Y'all need to read Mez 0ne's post... That's a good one right there. I didn't get me any XXI's yet, my boy did, don't know he did. Oh well.

For all u Socal heads, the Footaction in the Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, CA next saturday has about 30 pairs of the red XXI's. That's store been getting a bunch of good stuff lately. Heads Up!!! Peace Out!!!

like i said this one store had them out early and infact took them entirely off display after i bought the red pair and they realised it dont come out till next week..

^--I understand but what I'm also trying to say is that I can't even find stores that will have them on the 25th around here. I bought my white pair from Finishline yesterday and they told me they weren't going to get the red colorway but informed me which Finishline in this area does have an Urban account. So I called the other Finishline and they have no clue if they're getting the red ones or not but they doubt it.
 
you can say what you want about what these shoes look like and how long they will bein stores. The fact is that if you take these out on the court they perform amazing. I balled in the for 2 hours this morning and :wow:

shoes are comfy and STICK to the hardwoord. I really like the dna traction. Didn't have any overheating problems, had to lace them high for better ankle support but thats about it. It's too bad you can't just go out and try these on the court before you plunk the 175 or whatever down. I think that would sell a hellova lot more people.
