My ex just told me she was pregnant and thinking about an abortion.

whats up with this not ready to have a child yet crap and you OP are 24. There is no set time to have a child that is a gift from God and he wouldn't putyou in any situation you couldn't handle. what did you think sex came with? nothing?

Many. You have any idea how many people treat their children like a burden? Who neglect them constantly? I'd say they vastly outnumber theamount of parents who truly love their kids and treat them like they are gifts.

Having a child shouldn't be something you decide to do after the fact out of some silly moral stand you have against abortions - it should be a consciouschoice made by two individuals who love each other, in my opinion anyways. Instead, you have people just having kids because they feel guilty or morallyobligated to do so, and then you get a nation full of unloved children who grow up to be unloving adults.
 
my homie's lady got pregnant too and she was on birth control........chicks cant slack on taking the pills when they're suppose to
 
Same thing happened with me and my girl of 4 years-- relying on birth control FTL. She talked me into keeping it, now we have a beautiful 1 year old lil girl.But if you guys aren't ready for a child-- I don't see nothin wrong with an abortion.

when you phrase it like that, you make it seem like cold blooded murder. But its a whole lot deeper than that, if you dont think you're ready& able to care for a child, then honestly abortion is the better route to go. as opposed to having the child & not being able to provide for the child.Not to mention when you have a child before you're ready, a small piece of you is always going to ahve a sense of resentment for the child.

Actually ive never paid for an abortion bud and i have one daughter. And im 19 if it matters. Im simply just lettin him know he should think twice, cuz itcould be on his mind forever. And it sounds like your the one talking out your %+* yo.
 
Though I would never ask my girl or any woman I seeded up to get an abortion, I am pro-choice...I don't feel anyone has the ability to tell a woman ewhatto do wit her body....also I understand if u have sex, u have to be responsible I would rather have a teen chick have an abortion as oppose to have a baby andput the strain on their family or have the child come up in horrible conditions or enviornment or the nation by goin on welfare...

Thanks for proving my point - you have no idea what it would be like to have an abortion, so how you can sit there and say somebody would regretit? Somebody you've never met, going through a situation you've never gone through yourself.

Quit telling people what they're going to feel and all this - you chose to have a child at a young age, congrats to you i guess. But that's not whateverybody wants to do, and they shouldn't feel ashamed or too prideful to admit that they aren't ready for such a thing. Accidents happen - but it canend there in many cases, there's no need for an accident to turn into a catastrophe when an unwanted child is brought into this world out of things likefear and embarrassment instead of careful thought and love.

Abortions shouldn't be an easy decision - but they should be an accepted one, by everybody.
 
nothing on NT is gonig to change my mind. As of right now were in the process of the abortion, we've gone to the clinic, watched the videos stuff likethat. We're jsut awaiting a few more test to make sure the pregnancy is not ectopic.

I understand that people often have regrets of not keeping the baby but i think it goes both ways THere are just as many people that regret keeping the baby,but in that case i doubt they really voice it.

Yes we are 24 but the number says nothing. I always wanted a baby before i was 30 but lets be realistic; We are both still in school with no College degrees,We live in a small apartment with 2 other people, We live Check-by-Check. I jsut don't see how we could be ready right now.

As for adoption....NO, If we were to go through that procedure why wouldnt we jsut keep the baby then! All those adoption advocates in here, any takers? PM andwe can set something up. keep it real. if you gon saysomething, back it up.
 
If your not ready for a baby then ur not ready for sex keep the baby trust me you will be happy that you did look at keyshia coles sister she was gonna aborthers but she is so happy that she didn't. YOUR parents kept you so don't kill yours keep it you'll be a hood father trust me.
 
smh, at 24 years old I would never fall through with an abortion, I'd assume when Im 24 I'll be somewhat stable and have enough responsibility to takecare of a child even if it was unexpected. So get over it, you're not in your teens, you're not a baby. You have a life to take care of now, man up andstop ducking, murdering your own child is not the way to go bro

So your gonna stop life because your not ready forConsequences of your actions, Knowing there's a chance you can get pregnant or get someone pregnant when you have sex. I just hate when people say therenot ready yet and they will have one when the time is right, like you can hold off life til a later time. dont go with your gut or any of that nonsense. You have all the control to make a decision. If you think you can raise a healthy kid and a family right nowthen keep it but if not i feel you are bringing in a kid into this world that wont live a fully adequate life and do you want that for your child would youwant that for yourself? plus my belief is its never a kid until a few weeks after when it starts developing just because your little man swam up in a egg dosenot mean its a human yet. do what you want just dont make a decision thats for the loss for the baby and for you cause nobody wins.
