With my local blockbusters closing this week, I am wondering which is better Netflix or Blockbuster online? How fast do you get yourmovies?

I've had both and they were about equal, but it really depends on where you live and how close you are to a shipping station. I will say that if you wantblu-rays, Netflix has been a total failure at that, lately. My friend has 8 or so blu-rays on his queue and they are all "long wait" or "verylong wait."

Question with Netflix.

If the top of my queue list is a long or short wait DVD, do they send me what's available next on my list or do I have to wait for the DVD to becomeavailable??

I'm on the 1 at a time plan BTW.

They'll send the first thing on your queue that is available. IE The Dark Knight is first on your list but on a long wait followed by IndianaJones that is a short wait/available. You'll get Indiana Jones first, then TDK if it's available when you return Indiana Jones. Netflix makes sure youalways have a movie in the mail.

netflix, shipping is one business day. great trial too.

Netflix < Blockbuster if you DO live near a Blockbuster store.

Netflix > Blockbuster if you do NOT live near a Blockbuster store.

Netflix is the greatest

Cosign... the last 4 movies I've watched were over my xbox as well as The Office seasons 2-4. Netflix has been very good to me on thebluray's too, like Pineapple Express said "Very Long Wait" but I got in like 2 days.... that usually happens with most of them.

I use Netflix. I've never tried Blockbuster, but I never had any problems with Netflix so I've stuck with them.

You guys who use Netflix, when you place your order do you usually get it within in 2-3 days?

i've had both (was on NF for 2+ years) and i'm on Blockbuster right now.

both are about the same for turnaround time. usually takes about 2 business days.
