I mean everyone says 50 needs to go back to his GRODT days and Power of the Dollar days. People want Em to stay on his Slim Shady LP type of &*^(. LilWayne hasn't progressed since his Hot Boyz days. Kanye was the man during his College Dropout days. Now these are all perceptions of the NT Music communitybut, has any rapper improved during his career?

I think Wayne got better at a certain point (Squad Up, Carter 1, Dedication 1), but then he regressed so its hard to call it...

And please, you can't be serious saying Rip The Jacker isn't canibus's best work. Really ? Poet Laureate, Showtime at the gallows, Levitibusetc.... I even said because of the beats... thought that was unanimous ? Stoupe was the best thing to ever happen to the man.

Who said they got worse? Your telling Supreme Clientele was a VAST UPGRADE from Ironman? You saw a difference in Ghost's flow and delivery? You listened tohim improve as a rapper?

Wasn't a "VAST" upgrade, but you can definitely tell he got better between the albums. Mobb Deep was an obvious improvement. I already explainedCanibus.

how has lil wayne NOT improved i dont even like dude.but to say he hasnt improved is stupid..and yes contrary to belief jeezy has improved alot also.he stilltalks about coke but his lyrics are better
 
Oh this one's easy...

Outkast. They were good for Southernplayalistic, but they defined their own identities and continued to get better individually and collaboratively tillSB/TLB.

Nas improved throughout his career till about Godson, then he leveled out.
 
2pac is the only rapper that got considerably better as his career evolved. 2pacolypse now is one of his worst albums if not the worst, while Pac's last 3albums of his life were all classic and easily his best.
 
Yeah from 1st album probably up until the 3rd Mobb Deep progressed, but afterwards....

Nas best work were his first 2 albums. Outkast declined after aqumini.
