did the value of the black/red xi go down?

I have had the black/red 11 from 2001 since the day they came out and now i got the cdp xi and i'm trying to sell them but now one wants black/red xi in asize 6 i don't understand did the hype died for these shoes? I know people would had gone nuts for these a year ago
 
The flood of cdp xi's killed it. But if you wear those pieces of crap (cdp's) you appreciate the 01's much more.
 
ECONOMY IS BAD..... PROLLY A TIMING ISSUE..... XI WILL ALWAYS BE LEGENDARY....
 
What is the price for an original never worn pair of BRED 96's? Original box, black paper, and receipt. I would like to know the price for those. I pickedthem up for $200 and figured it was a great investment.

it's most likely a mix of the poor economy, CDP XI release, and the fact that they're an unpopular size.

wow, are you ever in for a treat. the XIIs are probably the most comfortable CDP to come out to me, and the XI is by far the least. good luck with your firstwear... it's almost unbearable.

Agreed the xii are mad comfortable. And xi suck. I broke them out this weekend and they tore up my feet. I came to the sad reallity that I might have to sellthem.

Cant really say the CDPs killed it. I believe the CDPs helped in a way. For those people they are trying to get their foot in the door to try to begincollecting Jordans, they dont have to $300+ to throw out for OG black/cement IIIs or love the color of the carmine VIs but cant wear them because of the fearof cracking. Its like everything Jordan Brand does we're automatically programmed to complain. People beg for OG colorways but now when they come out, weall complain that it isn't fair to the OG collectors. I think the CDPs helped more than it hurt, and from what i noticed, everyone that complains about theCDPs has copped atleast 1 pack. Lets face it, JB cant please us all but we cant really knock their effort for trying.

YOU ARE 100% RIGHT, everyone begs for OGs, then gets em and complains, nike heads complain about the size of the air bubbles, jordan heads complain about no "NIKE AIR" and cracking midsoles...at the end of the day im just happy to put on the sneaker i had in grade school, OR never had a chance to wear cause my parents wouldnt get them for me...we cant have it all but im happy....some people will just forever be ungrateful

HAPPENS WITH ALMOST EVERY RETRO. THE OG'S VALUE DROPS A BIT BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE WHO WOULD OF BOUGHT THE OG'S BOUGHT THE RETRO SO LESS DEMAND.
