I like the lowtop sample better than the retail version. Looks more in line with other models in the family.

@johngotty  there is no such thing as a low top trainer being better than a mid or hi.

what i would kill for the safari low trainers to be mids.

Those samples brought me back here.. WOW!

I don't think that Air Max 360 trainer 2 ever released. That C/W is OG to the max. 2013 was around the time info came out on the white volt black pair. The model sorta just disappeared.

While I'm here, any of you guys have pairs that have started to crumble, crack, or glue separate? I saw a few pages back where a At1 had some separation issues.

I just want to set out a warning for you all. I give At1s about 13 years, and ATIIIs about 10 years before they are laid to rest. That leaves your AT1 knicks, orcas, book of ones and anything older on the chopping block.

Just did an inventory check on my trainers. Sitting on about 9 unwearable at1 2000 era shoes, a couple of 2000 era atIIIs and some sc high late 90s. What are you all doing with old shoes? I wonder if there is a market for them. The uppers are fine. It's the midsoles that are shot to hell.

Currently, I still only wear nike cross trainers for everyday activities. Glad to see this thread still running. I'll try to contribute more. Ever since a midsole crumbled in '13 on a clean pair of at1 chlorophylls, things haven't been the same for me.

Nice First Takes @supremexheat. Nice 2010s too @SpursFan414. I passed on those for some dumb reason and haven't been able to find a 13 in a while.

Been procuring some relics to retrace some of my younger years.  I grew up in the era of Bo, Andre, and Michael, and the Ground Zero of what became today's obsession with sneakers.  I came across two OG pairs of Air Trainer SC 2, the white/blue being DS.

I like.

Still waiting for that og grey black white cw I love.

And it's a shame it's a poorly painted midsole these days instead of that translucent sole from the original. And they skimped on the strap too. No rubberised strap anymore, cut it out of the same material as the shoe upper. That'll do...
