:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

1999 Oreo IV Separation fix:

I am putting more pressure on the After photo compared to the Before photo. The separation is down to zero. I can fully repaint the midsoles and finish the sole swap.

It's funny how people take Before and After photos in different angles and lighting. Especially if theres a separation before and after. They dont apply pressure on the area to showcase it's been fixed. It LOOKS fixed, but looks can be deceiving.

Anyone using the saloncare40 method, what's the approximate distance you keep the lights from it?

how would i go about fixing a small tear in the nu buck on my foams?

I been wanting to try this method but not sure if it'll work, anyone else have any experience with a fabric repair kit on suede?

I've tried pretty much everything and the best one was gluing it together with shoe goo but it'll reopen after a few wears, pretty much not fixable.. Unless there's some type of mini sewing stitcher that I can use, that's the only thing I can think of but can't find anything like it lol

might be able to dye it to make it less noticeable but it will never look perfectly new because the suede is scrapped off
Don't re-dye them I repeat don't I did it to my 99' bred 4's this happen

Shout out to everybody that recommended Rit whitener. The stuff is magic. Gets rid of that yellow oxidation with a few scrubs of the toothbrush. Also its not tough on colors. I started cleaning my white based XIs and then ended up cleaning them all. I used the Rit and detergent on the white mesh and white soles

i have a DS pair of 2007 Black Metallic 5s, they're still factory laced & have never been tried on.

would i be ok to wear them as is? Or would the sole crack/crumble due to age? Should i look into getting a sole swap done on them before I wear?

Any input is appreciated,

thanks
i rock mine all the time do it

can anyone give me some insight on angelus easy cleaner vs jason markk and also how do they smell do they give off that nasty cleaner odor or do they smell fresh very much appreciated fam

No experience with angelus, but Jason markk does not have that chemical odor, as 99% of the ingredients in the cleaner is natural. It actually has a nice scent to it

you should be good

Don't know if this is the right thread or not.. I guess its somewhat maintenance, is there a trick to keep Jordan 1 tongues directly in the center? I have tried different ways of lacing and this particular pair the tongue always goes to one side. TIA

I have a DS pair of 2009 white/red Air Jordan XII.  They have been stored in the box in a closet since then.  I open the box today and see the sole is dry and looks "ashy".  2nd pic is a stratch I made.  Any way to fix this?  Thanks NT.
