Results should be pretty noticeable unless it was only very minorly yellow. Are you sure you're doing it right? Make sure after you apply the RIT, let the shoe air out for a good 12-16 hours before touching it again. Make sure it's completely dry before doing the next session. Also remember it'll initially yellow after applying the RIT and it'll brighten after sitting and airing out.

I'll post pics later but that is the video i watched too. I waited 24 hours between my sessions. I think my issues is I get the shoe too damp with water, too much soap and water, and then scrub it down with a lot of Rit. Could that be an issue?
 
Hey NT, any idea if regluing these with barge cement will work?

Do I need a replacement air unit (and if so, will a zoom unit suffice), and is there any chance that these will be wearable if the reglur js a success?

Those are og concord 11s right? I dont know if any other shoes use the same air unit. Do you have the originals? That is alot of work to get new units and reglue the midsoles
As far as glue, barge cement is the best to use.

These are the 2000. I think the previous owner stored em poorly

Apparently True Flights have the exact same air unit... so I shall test that out once they hit sales racks!

Yeah I just saw that. I already have 1 Universal and Protector pair. Idk if I really need anymore. Might just buy another 1 of each just to have for storage I guess
 
So the Jordan 4s comes with a black colored plastic right? Is it safe to store the pair with this plastic inside the box or should I just remove the black plastic and then store the shoes alone in the box?

Hi Niketalk!
So I've been working on restoring this pair of BC3s. I repainted the midsole by using Sneakerheadinthebay's instructions. Now that I've worn the shoes, I'm having some paint chipping after only two wears. Before I wore them, I sprayed them twice with Footlocker's waterproofer spray.

Please let me know if you have any ideas how to prevent the chipping. Maybe there's a spray or something that can seal the paint job? Any input appreciated.

Trick to that is use a thicker insole..nikes insoles are thin so yea the midsole is going to take the blunt of pressure..a thicker insole will help reduce that. Im not saying the paint will never crack again but hopefully not as quickly

Might be stupid question but did you use angelus paint? I have been repainting midsoles of my shoes , and i never have any problem with paint chpping ever happening (so far) , use thin coats, usually it will take me 6-8 coats for white and about 4-6 coats of darker colors.. Also use angelus finisher after about 2-3 coats... I use also sand paper to take the old paint of and use it to smooth the midsole ...
Im 175-180 lbs with stock insole and never have problems after repaint...
 
Is the pant susuppose to look a little blotchy on some parts of the shoe? Will it fix itself after a few hours? Redoing the suede on Raging bull 5s

I used acetone and then 5 layers of white angelus paint, then 3 layers of black on the black parts..I did not use angelus finisher though. Do you think that would make a big difference? I only was wearing them for the first time when the cracking happened. It might have been from scraping up against something, but I feel like it shouldn't come off that easily

Use the angelus finisher , it will lock the paint even with scratches.

You're gonna need e6000, a big clamp, and a toothpick. Put some E6000 on the toothpick, apply in between where the separation is, clamp down with large clamp and use a cloth in between the clamp on both sides to prevent compression damage. If possible, keep the clamp on the c.f. and leave the separated part exposed to breathe. Wipe off excess E6000 immediately after clamping. Let sit for a full day or more.
