:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

Hi, please tell me how to restore the suede. As you can see after the next booze they lost color. Thanks in advance!

.

Does anyone know how to paint the outsoles of shoes? I'm trying to paint the outsole of a couple pairs of dunks I have.

I also need tips on clamping shoes when doing a re glue. I have quite a few pairs that have sole separation (I'll provide pics later) but I need info on effectively clamping XI's.

I use painters tape to help the sole clamp to the midsole. Some use shoe laces with a wad of paper to apply pressure to the contoured areas.

That's what I thought. I have painters tape. I'll use that. I used gorilla tape on a spot that separated back in February. It worked....then after I wore my SJ, the whole damn sole separated. This made me happy though so I can do the entire thing and glue it without worrying about the rest falling apart. I need to fix my concords too. The gorilla tape made me feel better because it's really strong. I also read somewhere that when you apply the glue, let it sit for a few minutes so it dries just a bit and then put the soles on. I sort of works (I tried it with E6000).

Anyone see that video with never wet and BBQ sauce?!? Is this a real video? Has anyone used never wet on there kicks b4?

it does work amazingly but leaves a film and has known to discolor shoes so be warned that it will work but might change the color of your shoes.

Never used that brand but Repel Well has the same concept & it works great IMO.

Imma have to look Into that... The video that had the never wet.. The dude had a fresh pair of mid Jordan 1s all white n he said he put the stuff on just pour BBQ sauce on the sideways shoe and then put the shoe sole down n the sauce just fell off no marks no stain nothing... That why I'm not sure if it real or if I belived it lol

guy i wanna try to restore my stealth 3's midsole, but i have a doubt... if i'll repaint it with black angelus paint i'm sure i wont get the glossy stock finish, but a mat shade instead! does anyone know how to repaint em correctly? thanks bros!

Pretty sure u will get that glossy look unless u mix some time of duller or matte thing to the paint...

My method is usually after painting, i apply matte finisher... I havent tried mixing my paint with matte finisher tho.

Angelus also has a glossy finish as well

Question guys...Can you still remove angelus paint after you paint over your shoes? I am planning to get the black pair of Lance Mountains but the owner removed the paint. I wanted to cover it again and let it fade naturally.

1990 Air Jordan V Grape Sole Swap:

What's up Fam,

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend. This restore was fairly difficult in terms of fitment. Albeit, the color matching went pretty well!

I didn't do too much for the restore. The client only requested a midsole swap. I gave a complimentary leather conditioning and light scuff removal onto the shoes. Hope you enjoy and God bless!
