I also need tips on clamping shoes when doing a re glue. I have quite a few pairs that have sole separation (I'll provide pics later) but I need info on effectively clamping XI's.
That's what I thought. I have painters tape. I'll use that. I used gorilla tape on a spot that separated back in February. It worked....then after I wore my SJ, the whole damn sole separated. This made me happy though so I can do the entire thing and glue it without worrying about the rest falling apart. I need to fix my concords too. The gorilla tape made me feel better because it's really strong. I also read somewhere that when you apply the glue, let it sit for a few minutes so it dries just a bit and then put the soles on. I sort of works (I tried it with E6000).I also need tips on clamping shoes when doing a re glue. I use painters tape to help the sole clamp to the midsole. Some use shoe laces with a wad of paper to apply pressure to the contoured areas.

it does work amazingly but leaves a film and has known to discolor shoes so be warned that it will work but might change the color of your shoes.Anyone see that video with never wet and BBQ sauce?!? Is this a real video? Has anyone used never wet on there kicks b4?
P.s I don't have the video someone just showed me from there twitter timeline

Question guys...Can you still remove angelus paint after you paint over your shoes? I am planning to get the black pair of Lance Mountains but the owner removed the paint. I wanted to cover it again and let it fade naturally.
