:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

lol this has been asked 100x for icy soles on jordans, acetone doesnt fix the problem but you're more than welcome to try. we've found no solution.

Hes trying to remove a ink stain on front part of his lebrons soles not deyellow his soles. IF you use acetone Id get a finger nail polish remover that has it and use a qtip to try and get that ink stain off. I know theres products out there that remove ink from clothing but not sure how theyd work on a rubber sole..heck if nothing else use a lil bit of graffiti remover..if itll remove paint itll remove that ink

I can read and I can see the picture. Like I said, many people have tried multiple different methods with zero success. I've been in this thread a long time. A few months ago a lot of people had this happen with their XI from previous releases. People will learn to keep the receipt away from the sole.

Yea that ink stain ain't coming off... I been in this thread reading for quiet some time now and no one found the solution to it... One dude said he found a fix.. But then minutes later he said the ink stain came back... Good luck with thay

I have a little problem with a midsole. So I bought a pair of dubs in a size 8 for a 4 sole swap. The midsole for the right shoe fit the outsole pretty well but the second one fit small. Is there a way to shrink the outsole?

I tried the Sally's prpduct this past weekend, good results.

Then i tried it on my Kobe Cloaks and jacked up my midsoles :frown:

That is normal. I am swapping a pair of 99 bred 4s for @GeneTheMarine, and the midsoles looked too small when it wasn't glued in. just start gluing from the front towards the heel, and it should start to fit together better

Anyone have a suggestion on what to use to clean some old Burgundy V's? Is it safe to use Jason Markk with water? Suede cleaner from foot locker seems useless, I've tried on other shoes.

I would use lincoln ez cleaner. I've never tried jason mark on suede, but I know ez cleaner works.

I am new to forum and I just recently bought a pair of the Jordan 3 Sport Blue.  I was trying to look a product or ways that other people has done to keep the sneakers from creasing in the front of the shoes.  I know that in the first page of this thread there was a DIY on how to stop sneakers from creasing.  I don't want to go through the trouble of making one instead I wanted to know where I can buy something like that.  Does anyone suggest any products or where I can get something to stopping my sneakers from creasing?

You should do some research to see which is better. Look up vids on youtube, google searches, etc. I've never used any of them, so I don't know for sure, but I hear the sneakershields are better than the force fields. Don't know too much about the angelus decreaser. Me personally, I don't care about creasing, I just wear my shoes and clean/decrease them every once in a while. Makes life a lot easier.

I just got a pair of Lebron X elites and I'm wondering how I can clean the insole. It's glued onto the nike+ system. I usually remove the insole and clean it with soap and water but can't do that with these. I also wouldn't want to throw alcohol in them and mess up the nike+.

I recently picked up a DS pair of laney XIV. Problem is, the silver paint on the midsole has yellowed from age. Any way to remove yellowing from the paint?

Hello guys !

Here is a photo of my AJ IV FRs.

I wore them 2 times. Seems like the glue came off. Should I worry about it? or that's a typical thing for IVs?

Appreciate any help.
