There is a teacher at my school who is really tight and also the coach of the JV basketball team...I noticed one day he had on some OG White/Red 13s (Not inGREAT shape but in pretty good shape and could look better with some work done to them). I never said anything to him about them until the other day at thebanquet...we started talking about them and everything and he said he was wanting to sell them...I told him I'd buy them when I get the money andeverything and he was saying how he would just give em to me if I really wanted them...I said okay and thought to myself (yeah right, he is never gonna bringthem to school or anything...) So the week gose by and today in 6th hour there was a knock on the door and I heard a voice asking if I could come outside for asecond...so I do and sure enough, there is the teacher, OG 13s in hand and he simlpy hands them to me...I asked him if he was serious and sure enough hewas...keep in mind he knew how much he could of sold them for since I told him earlier in the week...I just thought this was a good story and how nice it wasof him and how lucky I am.

What? I never bought them...he just gave them to me. I was going to buy them but he just gave them to me.

Great story and I hope you really appreciate what he did for you more than the actual shoes. Good things come to those who are selfless and kind. I myself tryto give back by volunteering at my local community center and working with at-risk teens. There was once this teen that would come everyday after school tohelp me set up pick-up games for the other teens to play. Without even asking for anything in return I felt that his altruistic acts deserved something inreturn. So one day I drove him home and then asked him to look in the trunk because I had a present for him. He went to the trunk and when he opened it he sawmy OG pair of Bordeaux VII's. He was a huge basketball fan and also loved Michael Jordan so when I told him I wanted to give him my old beat-up pair ofVII's he was very excited. Later on I did get him a new pair of sneakers that he could wear, since the VII's were too old to wear. Eventually he didgraduate from high school and went on to university but always kept being the same selfless and kind guy I knew.
