Wow crazy it's been 10 years since these released. I remember reading in the first issue of Kicks mag that they were releasing. I was in high school whenthese released and had to wait til after school to pick up the black/cements. My pair is still in great condition.

My pair still looks good, i purchased the white/cement-grey joints in May of 99 when i was in the 7th grade. I wore a size 9.5 back then however they had soldout before i could get my hands on them. My moms made me go to school and didnt believe me when i said that they would be gone. When i got home from school ikept on calling every store like every hour and someone brought a size 9 back to the store because it didnt fit so i went up to the store as soon as i couldget there and i purchased them. No cracking or anything but i know that i wont wear them again.

My black/red 4's are still DS and look wearable but I might look at getting rid of them as I will never wear them.......

Mines are beat, the black has faded, my greys on the bottoms are yellow, Only wear em 3 times a year.

two more pair of each from NTers. It was great having what seemed like a lifetime supply of true retro IVs, but with a family and a new carreer I had
no time to wear them. Instead of letting $3,000 worth of shoes crumble into piles of nothing, I sold them along with my other Jordans to other shoeheads
to enjoy and turned a heafty profit.

Those pics are fresh!

I have been looking for a DS pair of White/Cements for years now and no luck in the $350 range..Hands down my favorite jordan maybe my favorite shoe of alltime..these some DS concords, Sport blue 6s, and OG 1s and my collection will be complete

Besides the defining version of all, the 1989 Air Jordan IV, the 99 retro is the closest thing to a wearable actual replica. I still don't have the Black& Red IV's, or the White Cement IV's but with time I will aquire a pair of each. Still can't mess with the CDP version which is why I passedlast year.

i really need the white/cement to retro again. my pair is already starting to crack a little, but at least i still own a pair.

...while we're here...

How is the CDP IV quality? They look like fakes to me in some photos, but I'm going to have to buy some as a back up to my 99 pair.

Mine are still ds, and the right shoe is completely wearable, but the left lookslike sum chipping mite occur soon.

Fang Bian Mian -I didn't know you were from the UK ...nice post!

I was busy getting married in '99 so sneaker money was tight, I would loved to have got a pair. But as you say, these didn't really blow up on this side of the pond.

Obviously, I made up for it later...

I get around but I'm a UKer yeah. You too?

100 quid was real money back then, but so was 69.99GBP for the OG's
