You have to understand hispanic is a culture/ethnic group that encompasses a lot of different "races"....there areDominicans that are as pale as can be and some who are darker than I am. Also "Black" or "Black American" is a different culture fromHispanic but a lot of "regular black people" could pass for hispanic. The only way you could tell if someone is hispanic or not is if they spoke thelanguage or told you their family history.




Hispanic is not a race. If you are dark enough in this country, you could pass for black. There are different shades of "black" people. Dominicansthemselves are descendants of Africans in the same way African Americans are. Both race blood lines have been diluted by mixing with other races. Forblacks (white people)....for dominicans (indians? spanish?).

I get the Argentinian, Puerto Rican, Indian, and White. I guess that being a light skinned with brown hair helps out sometimes. I'm mexican BTW.

One day I was chilling in lennox mall and the Mexican janitor walked up on me and started speaking Spanish....my eyes got big as hell LOL because I could thinkof was who the hell is he talking to and what is he saying

I will still get asked if I am Pakistani or Indian at times. I used to get it especially when I was younger when I was really dark. I will get South American(i.e. Venezuela) sometimes, when I rock the curly hair. However, most of the times, or lately, I get Persian or Afghan, even from other Arabs. Don'tPersians and Arabs kind of look alike anyways? Usually, I am also asked if I am Lebanese. Since some non-Arabs around here think all fair-skinned Arabs =Lebanese. I am Palestinian.

I'm Italian (mostly) and Egyptian but I look mostly "regular" white. I think its funny when people find out and doubt me. On it. Haha.
