It's official, JB is dead.

i guess in a way i agree i still buy jordans but nothing that has released this year
 
it doesnt help that while jn has been releasing crap shoes, nike and nike retro have stepped their game up
nike has the kobes, lebrons, all the bball shoes and the yeezys and nike retro is doing it big with the blazers they release

im patiently waiting for the space jams to come out

stopped by a footlocker located in a major mall in so cal, and they still had plenty of DMP 2 packs left from what I was told...

the manager was trying hard to sell me...

I passed, but nevertheless, I think the pack will sell out in the next couple of days...

I wouldn't say the brand is dead, but it certainly has lost its luster with a lot of loyal consumers, myself included...
 
they need to let the 5 breath a little bit....they retroed every og color and about 10 retro+ colorways in the last 3 to 4 years....and still have one on theway coming up.....i dont get why the feel the need to keep pushing the 5s so hard
 
it's been dead they should stop for 2 years i just buy what i like that's why i coped the playoff 2k9
 
no ones buying b/c its a recession....
some ppl dont have the money to spend on shoes...
 
I don't remember the last time I bought a pair of J's. I'll start copping again when retros in OG colorways start dropping.

yeah, jb is a cash cow. but as long as they continue to sell bad quality wannabe retro with non og colorways they are DEAD as far as i'mconcerned.....
 
11/12s didnt come out to long ago and they did pretty good i thought, but ya i kinda feel it because i bought the pack, 12s, and blue grifs and i deff like thegriffeys alot more hands down

Well said people don't have da extra money in their pockets 2 be spendin $310 on Jordans in past years we didn't have to worry bout datbut now everything is higher people got more important things 2 do wit their money like rent,food,&gas
 
Its just that so far in 09, nuthin really came out, no confirmed retroes until the sjs in december.
 
its a combination of crap being released with no end by JB, people waking up and realizing theyve been fed horrible quality over the last years, and highprices. If the fakes are as good quality as real Jordans, and come in cooler colors, which is pretty much whats happening right now, JB is done
 
IMO the OG nubucks were pretty nice. i seen the re-releasing nubucks and i think they look ashy as hell which = not copping. i would have got the raging bullsbut the RD change made it so i wouldnt have dough when they dropped. maybe ill cop if they are still around this friday, if not then oh well. knowing the wayjersey is, the hypebeasts probably ate them all already......
 
Im literally waitin on some infrared VI's and yeah I'll agree.....

On the other hand Nike retro has been kickin JB but for a good year now.
