thats just dumb, kobe would mop the floor with mj if they were to play to 11 today and MJ started with 8,9, or maybe even 10
 
The problem I think many of us older (I'm 30) fans have is that Kobe = copycat MJ. Everything about him in the begining ofhis career until only recently was about copying MJ's stye. I mean there are 1000 examples I can think of, but look at him in those french blue12's....Mj wore tall baggy socks with that model and so what does Kobe do?....take a look @ the pic in this very thread. His walk, they way he speaks ininterviews....pretty much everything is MJ. I dont have the interview but he even admits to studying MJ. I know I'm not alone on this. The youngergeneration seems to only know MJ from pics and old game videos and doesnt notice this as much or at all....

Kobe = wannabe.
 
well im old to 35 and i can tell you this HE PICKED THE RIGHT GUY TO COPY and doing a pretty good job at it.
 
well kobe may wear socks like MJ, but does that mean anything? no not really

however he does a good job of being unsportsmanlike and as much of an $%*%#$+ as MJ
 
I have witnessed the prime of Michael and right now the prime of Kobe. Kobe has developed a sweet fadeaway like Michael's and that's about it. Michaelrelies alot more on his post game late in his career against smaller guards where Kobe does more of a face the basket type of attack. Kobe does a combinationof Scottie and Michael's job in running the triangle. Anyways, the point is, Kobe is no copycat, but he is the closest thing we can find next to MJ, so whynot just treasure it?

Back to the topic, the III's and VIII's were sickkk, I wish for the Lakers' colorway to come out instead of the Lakers' 6-Rings, again,it's a wish.
 
All i can say is damn. These pics are so sick. Im inspired to by the pure 3's and make my own custom Kobe 3's. That pic of him wearing the firstiverson was sick to! Those vii's are off the charts too. Damn i wish i was an NBA player, lol.
