On second listen this joint is good, but not as impressive as I thought. Cole mailed I'd in on a few verses and there's way to much singing, like why does St. Tropez really only have one verse.

The more I listen to the album as a whole the more I seem to not enjoy it...will post a more comprehensive review later..

On 3rd listen jan 28th, gomd, and role modelz are the best songs here imo. All real good songs even though I think some other rapper will do that GOMD beat much more justice.

Wet Dreams is such a bad song. Sure a lot of us can relate to it, but how do you go from making a song like Lost Ones to this crap. Dude is on his 3rd album and making songs for kids in middle/high school. I wouldnt mind if it was on the The Warm Up or even FNL, but no way I'd put that on an album.

Wet Dreamz is pretty corny considering Jermaine is like 29 now.

Honestly, this album sounds like half old songs, half new ones. The best way I can compare this album to is like watching KD score 20 and 10. Yeah comparatively speaking that's a good performance, but when you know somebody has the talent to do a lot better it's kinda disappointing.

I'm really not seeing enough love Apparently throughout the interwebz. Song is amazing, it's fighting with Fire Squad right now as my favorite song on the album.

All jokes aside, I almost burst out into tears on the train 2 days ago while listening to the first verse about his mother. Coming from a single parent home, having problems with my mother and realizing how a lot of times I've been a ****** up son, transitioning to a grown man realizing that me and my mother aren't getting any younger... that verse really touched me.

I literally had to fight the tears back, my eyes watered, I started breathing heavy n everything. The train was packed and I thought two dudes standing next to me were laughing at me cause they noticed but I had my headphones on and was a little paranoid. For all I know they could have been talking about some thots.

Just my pointless $.02

So y'all dont think him going back home to NC and making an album about it wouldn't include high school?

This is an introspective album and cole's an introspective rapper.....it is what it is I guess some people hate it some people don't.

IMHO Wet Dreamz is one of the standout songs

U over thinking it bro. Nas made a song similar called " remember the times" where he talked about all the chicks he smashed. He made that song when he was like 35 yo. Ill be 29 in three years. U think i wont be talking chicks i smashed . Lol

After my first listen album was decent at best. Tried going into this without expectations but couldn't resist thinking this would be so much better. Love and respect dudes music and he's probably one of the few artist I'll still actually buy their CD to support. But the album really just felt underwhelming. Will definitely let it digest for the next few months hoping it grows on me.
