this is super underwhelming

i expected better ---all the beats sound the same as all his other songs.

guy has never been as good as "The Warm Up"

he peaked too soon
 
Finally listened, and I'm convinced that I'll never really like this dude. For me, he has flashes of greatness, but  overall he's just average. . Only  problem i have with him is that his hooks are trash. Out of all his work, I only bump select tracks from Warm Up

After many listens, this album is still a 8.5 to maybe 9 out of 10 for me.

Coles' work IMO:

FNL>Warm UP>SS>2014 FHD>Born Sinner

I feel like on all his albums, if he were to replace a few songs with some of the stuff he gives away for free on mixtapes, he'd have something very special. (Kenny Lofton/Im a fool on born sinner, Return of Simba on SS, etc)

Probably not a big deal to most but I'm feeling proud. Will feel good to listen tomorrow on my audio technica M50 headphones using the iTunes album purchased on the day of.

It's the little things man. It'll feel like the old days again of listening to an album from front to back on release day.

Same here because I liked so much the way he released this project without singles I had to hold out and wait. I am going to enjoy listening to the album like this. Definitely takes me back! :smokin

Best outro I've ever heard, including College Dropout or whatever else you might be thinking.  If you don't crack at least one smile listening to that ****, you got no soul. 

Album is miles ahead of BS, which was a slight regression in quality from SS. 

Heard it about 7 or 8 times now, don't skip any tracks. 
 
The transition from the Intro to January 28th is perfect. Will scoop up the physical copy later today.
 
Man I'm only halfway through and it's already better than Born Sinner. :smokin

Won't give a full review until I give it more spins tho.

Man……this is everything that the game needs right now. Forget radio singles or reaching for someone approval for recognition sake. Art is art, and cole did just that. I'm glad he went back home and gave us that soul, I could care less if he had no features and sang all his hooks because he spitting that real and true fans gonna respect it regardless.
