[:: J. COLE THREAD | DREAMVILLE's ROTD3 ALBUM OUT NOW!! ::]

this dude don't not deliver. his batting percentage the past year is absurd. ima start callin the boy pete rose.

This song is too nice. I like how he takes his time with his music. Love the lyrics and vibe of this song.

Somewhere Cole is listening to GKMC and utterly trying to destroy EVERY beat he touches. Call me crazy but the fact that these two our good friends and the outcome of kendricks album coming out the way it did.. has me feeling like Cole is gonna cook up something super official come the next record

He dont got IT like Kendrick does though...dont get me wrong, i like Cole, but he aint that special in any way. what your saying is most likely true about him trying to kill everything after hearing Good Kid...

I remember Watching a J. Cole interview awhile after OD dropped talking about how's he glad he has someone to actually "compete" with from the same era...

I feel him tho.

Both make real good music. Hope we get that project sooner than later..

That's the thing i actually think he does have IT. I feel like cole has every aspect you can want in a rapper and the fact that he's also growing dramatically as a producer is only going to help him more. Ever since that album dropped and he proved to all the world that he's here to stay (He outsold the "Hottest rapper of the year" as a youngin) his entire presence has just came off as nobody can touch me on the mic.

I picture K.dot/ Cole like a modern day Nas/Jay, the content is diffrent but the similarities in their approach and attitudes are very similar.

K.dot atleast early on has shown that he'll touch on any topic and put all his emotions out on a track, where as Cole finds a way to make hits w/o coming across as a sellout and still keeping his tracks Lyrically on par with the best.

IMO now that he's reached that success and knows how the world views him you are going to see him get a lot deeper and darker in his music (ala his mixtapes)
