Ray Allen said back in Seattle that Kobe would be fine without Shaq, because he would just hog the ball and wow people.
Of course this will be dismissed because Ray 'only' has 2 rings and isn't playing anymore. His assessment has nothing to do with his team's accomplishments, but that's how his prophetic words will be dismissed.
Smush Parker said on his way out that all of the Lakers problems can be traced back to Kobe.

There will be an excuse to dismiss every criticism, but these 2 are among the most spot on.

Luke Walton won another ring before Kobe, and has a legit shot to win more sooner than LAL ever will. The only way Kobe will ever even sniff a chance at a ring is if he begs Walton to join the coaching staff. How the mighty have fallen. It's a shame Walton had to carry this bum to 2 rings.

Not really that interesting. Bean has logged some 5,000 more minutes including basically missing almost two full seasons due to injury basically canceling out whatever head start he had on Dirk in seasons. Age ain't nothing but a number in the NBA.

Ya'll gotta understand how hard it is to come back from a Rotator Cuff surgery much less at 37 years old for an athlete that does his thing with over the head activity. Rehab is generally 9-12 months for a "regular Joe", this is a world class athlete. He's going to need time, dont write him off.
