Jordan brand Vs. Nike

Pennys are doper than any kobes an most lebrons. JB will always be in its own category IMO.

When u say Kobes sig outsells Jordans sig presently, do u mean the Kobe IV vs The 2009? I can see that, but in no way can i imagine that this was true with theKobe III and The XX3....Thanks beforehand for ur response....

I don't think we are living in the past, but it doesn't help kobe n LB's case when their shoes are hideous. I'd rather rock hyperdunks all dayeveryday b4 I put ne of their **** on my feet!!!

I dont think we can assume that yet. Both of those players are marketing giants, with nike help. Who knows how long theyll last
 
Well I Like Some Nike, Af1. Foams, And All Tht.. . And I Lovee Air Max 95s .. But I'll Choose Jordan Over Them Everyday.
 
Doesn't matter for me if it's Nike or Jordan Brand... if I like them and they feel good, I'll cop 'em & rock 'em.
 
i only liked the LeBron 3s and thats only because they resemble the Jordan11s. i think the other lebrons were ugly. i never liked a Kobe shoe, period. the 2k3was nice but thats not his official sig shoe. Nostalgia does go along way for people that remember the 90s jordan era, we saw some incredible things in Jordanshoes, i think most will agree that from 1-13 JB is solid. Kobe and Lebrons line have long way to go to match that. at the end of the day Jordans legacy cantbe forgotten and it carries over to shoes sales and hype even tho the man has been retired for a while. i think the lebron line has a chance to be great ifthey improve the designs or they should both just switch to JB and wear quality retros all the time with up to date technology. so just keep the same shell ofthe retros but improve the inside technology and materials.
 
When JB dies down I'll just go to what appeals to me just as JB did. There's no doubt that Jordan's line was executed way better than the
modern Jordan and Kobe line. They can't compare, point blank.

Penny's are dope though..

Agreed. I never knew that the Kobe line did that well though. I never see people with those on.

Please explain to me how any Kobe shoe has changed the shoe game "the way the Jordan 3 did" or any signature Jordan for that matter...Man, Iswear...A guy finally wins a championship in which he's NOT the sidekick and all of a sudden not only is he comparable as a player to MJ but his shoes havethe same impact as the AJ line.....

ok first of all the kobe's and lebrons are way better than n e jordans quality wise but as far as fashion jordans are molly woppin dem. but yea der aredefinately other shoes out there that are better than jordans but ppl sumtimes are too nieve or too stubborn to take off the jordans and try sum else. o wellcan't change ppl so start wit yaself. good post doe.
 
when I said the kobe iv changed the game like the jordan 3, I meant in the way that the kobe iv is a low cut shoe that went in a diffrent direction thaneverybody else ,like when the jordan 3 came out it was a low cut shoe when ever thing back then was hightop.

When I say hype I mean basketball shoes are suppose to be for basketball, performance wise Nike is killing JB the zoom bb was better than the jordan xx3 butthe hype of the 23rd edition shoes had people buying 200 dollars sneakers (that hurt your feet when you play) while the bb sat on shelves. Im not reallytalking about looks im talking more about performance. If it wasnt for retros, JB would be finished cause none of their newer models PERFOMANCE wise can keepup with nike. I wish JB would put out a shoe that out performs any shoe on the b-ball market at the time, when you guys say jb is better what are you basing iton?
 
nikes go so much more fed than Jordan right now... both in quality and style..

griffeys, barkleys, kobes, lebrons, air max (95s, 97s, and 1s)

for jordan, you got horrible packages, horrible quality, and funky releases... the best quality in the recent past has been team jordans and fusions...

its name is the only thing keepin it around. kids walk into stores sayin "i want jordans" not because they want retros... they just want anythingthat has the jumpman on it.

Interesting topic, Kobe had 2 different companies endorsing him so far in his career and MJ only had one. Also, MJ has his own logo (No Swoosh), while Kobedoes have his own logo; he still has the big Swoosh going across the side panel. But most importantly, MJ changed the game of basketball AND the game ofsneakers. Too much history behind the Legend. I'm not taking anything away from Kobe but he will never be on MJ's level. Ever.
 
I understand that everyone has there own opinion on what they like and what product they feel is better, but to say that ANY Kobe shoe has "changed thegame" at all is debateable at best. Saying that any Kobe shoe has done what ANY Jordan shoe has done is just plain ridiculous amd past the point ofopinionated. This kind of statement is what happens when your bias has clouded rational thinking until the point where you post your feelings rather than whatwe all know is factual.

But I understand now seeing as the op is from Cali....
