The more time you spend looking at real jerseys from that era, the more comfortable you will be in determining what jerseys are real, fake, customized, etc

jordan never wore a jersey with the first tag (same tag as your photo). If I recall correctly, that tag didn't show up on nike authentics until the 1999-2000 season.

Be careful because there are also fakes of the real 1997-1998 tag (i.e. raptors jerseys)

Oh god... it's about the tag again. thanks again man. damn.. seems i never learn...  
 
I saw these two knicks xmas jersey. is that JR one fake? if not, why the tag is different? #40 has double tag but #8 only has one?
 
^that's a tough call. When in doubt, I stay away lol

I know the nba sold christmas jerseys on their nba auction site. Pretty sure they never made christmas rev 30's available to the public. But if the seller has can provide good background to how the jersey is real, then who knows, maybe he has a connection.

The "new york" font looks slightly bigger on the JR jersey

both jerseys are legit, second one was most likely issued and didnt have the meigrey tag attached.
 
Can I get a legit check on this T-Mac please?

That flabby name on the back looks a bit suspicious - could just be it's well used but it seems a bit dodgy to me... What do you guys think?

Well its from an ebay seller... right

should tell you what they are but Steiner did sell a jefferies jersey or someone last season that was game worn without the serial tag...

so ask the seller what each jersey is? both could be issued, we dont know. the seller knows better.

Nice jersey! I have the original Reebok one. Why can't Mitchell come correct on the jerseys? There has to be a clause or something of that nature that prevents them from 100% accuracy. They are consistent on not being accurate. The name on the back of the jersey should not be arched.

The jersey is nice, but I don't see what's so hard about straightening the name out. Has anyone got an answer why they are never accurate? I haven't.
 
unfortunately names on game jerseys back were arched

not sure if the material is the same as 2004/05 jerseys

and not sure how was sewned names on back in late 50's

but probably reebok made mistake in 2004 in swingmans and authentics... (i have odom authentic jersey btw and it's great jersey!)

on my opinion，04-05 kobe，M&N‘s edition is better than RBK authentic，the name on back is better ，the material is better~

I stand corrected on the name being arched. My Reebok has it straight across.

What's the difference in the material?
