Shortest Time at a Job? Vol. I should have given my 2 weeks notice before I applied..

Worked at McDonalds flipping burgers every Saturday for 7 dollars an hour  I literally only worked Saturdays

I did that for about 6 months. 3 months in, I got a better paying job. Didn't quit mcdonalds for whatever reason. When I finally gave 2 weeks notice to the boss, they just stopped putting me on the schedule

This place is like up the road from my crib so I go there often to eat. Me and the manager always pretend like we don't see each other  **** is so awkward

I'm 5 hours in my first day as a proposal coordinator for a defense contractor, making 42.5k a year. Almost left at lunch. Might not come back tomorrow. This thread is inspiring me. Will be back with update. 9-5 life is suicidal.

Worked like 6 hours at Johnny Rockets. Was hating every moment cause I was cleaning dishes mostly.

I had applied to Foot Locker at the time and had a hook up but hadn't heard from the person in about a month.

Desperately took a job at Johnny Rockets and about 5.5 hours in, I get a phone call from my hook up telling me I

got the job and if I could start the next day. Took off my uniform and just said "I'm out. Can't do this anymore"

Came back to pick up my check in my Foot Locker uniform thinking I was on top of the world

Three weeks at USPS. One afternoon, I had lost the key to the mail truck I was driving with, in the snow. The supervisor had to come down and have the other mail carriers take the rest of my mail in the truck. I was so embarrassed, I told them to that I won't be back.

Bruh u quit USPS
That's like a cake ***
Retire after 20-30 years
With paid pension and medical
Type of job :smh:

Have you ever delivered mail in a blizzard before?

Worked at Macy's for 4 days. I had to do a week of training before hand and already had retail experience but was over it. They had me working in woman's shoes on some Al Bundy steez. Got cursed out by a lady because I sold her last size in front of her unintentionally when she brought the shoes to the front and wanted me to hold them for her for a little while. Clocked out at the end of that day and the next day called my manager and told him thank you for the opportunity but i quit.

Never even got a chance to use the discount

2 weeks, wrote up a resignation letter and bounced. Worked at a Baltimore university environmental department
and wasn't to hype about picking up clothing /remains of dead individuals at the campus/city morgue. And it is B-more
so I was there multiple times a week.

Took a job at fed ex office right outta college when I moved back home ...I just needed about a month or 2 worth of pay checks to hold me over while I was job searching ...manager was pissed , taking bout he had big plans for me at fed ex office

Worked at old navy for a week and the Gap for a weekend ...I'm just not a retail/store type of worker

1 day as a mailman @ USPS...in Camden, NJ.

Some of the streets I walked down looked like something you'd see on Fallout 3..and I'd notice some dudes eyeballing me/following from a distance then walking away when I got back in the truck..made me feel uneasy

When I was walking with the person that was training me, she told me how the block we were on..2 dudes ran up on this other dude and shot him right in front of her. I looked at her like "..why would you tell me that? :smh: "

We also walked by this pitbull the size of Houndoom...thankfully it was caged. That thing could probably eat a mammoth. After the day was over I quit

Two weeks at a warehouse job, I quit when I got a call selling retail phones, chilling in a air conditioned room and ate fast food most the time.

That warehouse job would leave me so exhausted, to the point where I'd lay in the car after work for 30 min trying to build energy to drive home.

One day at Walmart. The **** was I thinking? Didn't even make it past the training.

Deceased at Fallout 3

2 weeks at Sears. Should have known it was a bad situation when they hired me as I was filling out an application at the computer they had set up. Training was all done on a computer, at your convenience, and you weren't supposed to work the floor til you were done. Got a call that I missed my shift in lawn and garden when I was still in the process of being trained as an electronics salesman. Basically told the lady I wouldn't be coming back in.

I worked at a Whataburger for just under a month. Even though I told them I could work anytime (Whataburger is open 24/7) and had previous fast food experience, they had me working only three hours a day, three days a week. Sometimes, they'd me home early...ON A THREE HOUR SHIFT!!!

They said it because I needed "training", I don't need four weeks of training to work at a burger joint.

I only worked there because it was within walking distance.

One day, when I was scheduled to come for another three-hour shift, I was told I wasn't needed today. I just left my hat and name tag and walked out.

Whataburger closed all of their restaurants in Central Florida in 2009. That's what they get.

I worked at Sears for a weekend. At the end of the shift the manager told me to check the schedule for my work days. I did, I didn't see my name so I never came back.

I worked at Nike for one full day. I left at the start of the shift on the second day.

I worked at a Chrysler/Dodge dealership for 3 hours. I was hired as a lot porter but dudes had me emptying the garbage the entire time. This one garbage can I emptied had spit from Chewing tobacco in it. It got on my Polo collar shirt, my shirt was white, so it was pretty much ruined. I got in my car and left.

I worked at Krystal's for two days.. I quit to go work at Fed Ex Hub. I needed some benefits and that tuition reimbursement.
