Is it just me or does anyone else out there get really mad that you can find tons ofjordans in sizes 8-10 but none over size 12? Last time I checked Michael Jordan wore these shoes to play basketball in, how many basketball players really havea shoe size under a 9? I'm 6'4 and my true size is like 12.5 so I usually buy a 13 but lately my stores haven't even been getting 13's, biggestis a 12 so I have to drop a size. My ftl would get 3 pairs of each size pack then like 2 12s and maybe 1 13. I know there are dudes who wear jordans withbigger feat then me and I have trouble getting my hands on kicks.

And nothing makes me more sick then the 2009 true blue 3's. Like ok it sucks forthose of us in the states trying to get our hands on them but to make things worse the retailers that do have any size over 11 are charging like 250. For asize 12 on skiptomyshoe you pay $250, but for a 9 you pay $210? 3 inches = $40 extra in material?

Jordan is really making me sick lately. I'm guessing a lot of you can relate becauseJordan's are a basketball shoe and I think the ratio of taller players to short players is in def in favor of the tall guys. I had class with the centerfor my D1 team; he used to laugh at new releases and said he stopped buying Jordan's when he hit 6'11 because getting his hands on a pair of size 15sis hit or miss. Either gets them on discount or doesn't find them at all.

Cliffnotes: Jordans were invented to be played basketball in. Why does Jordan not release more large size jays, aren't most basketball players tall withlarge feet?

then why did the 23s and 2009 have "new crazy bball technology"?

OP, I know where your coming from. I'm a size 12, and it gets irritating sometimes especially on ebay where a lot of size 12 ninja's lurk

i wear size 13 and i dont really feel its that difficult to find shoes my size. anything higher that 13 though becomes much more difficult. Go search Jordan onebay and see how many hits you get for size 13, then go to 14. 14+ is a huge drop off. I've always felt that size 13 was an ideal size really, any biggerand the supply drops off sharply, any smaller and the demand goes up. They might make fewer, but theres less competition for them too. Some new releases can bedicey at certain shops, but I get most of my shoes online (eBay/Shoetrends/Eastbay) where I see size 9-11 sell out the fastest.

As far as there should be more large sizes because basketball players should be bigger, well thats really only true on a fairly high level. If I go to thelocal park or gym I am still generally the biggest guy there (6'7"). Obviously in HS and even college most players are not that big and probably stilldon't cross over that size 14 barrier. You are talking to the CENTER of a D1 team and he is size 15. Most of the other players, even at that high level aregoing to be smaller, probably 13 and under. If you really think the center of D1 college teams is representative of Jordan Brands demographic you are going tobe disappointed. Those guys are the exception, even for D1 I think size 14+ will be less than 20% of the players. Only at the NBA level will there be asemi-large portion of size 14+ guys, but most of them will not have issues finding the shoes they want.

The fact of the matter is there aren't all that many people that wear size 14+. It would be hard for JB to justify mass producing shoes in that size rangewhen the market for them is so much smaller. You may also notice that releases geared towards performance tend to be easier to find in those sizes, just hit upEastbay you will see a lot. The shoes that are going to be harder to find are the LS/package/retro releases which are generally not being bought/sold to ballin anyways.

Cliffnotes: Be thankful you aren't a size or two bigger, then you'd really be screwed.

dude i wear a 12.5 and It feels like nike makes about 10 pair of each shoe in that sz. 13's seem to be getting bigger and 12s are too small.

i feel you

So absurd.

Back to topic. The popular sizes are 9-12 so there's going to be hard to find. I think the 13 and up are probably the easiest to find. And of course the12.5 always seem the hardest to find.

I work at a moms and pop store and 12.5 is rare actually we never get that size. we had a 12.5 sent to us on accident.

Can't find size 14's in stores, which is a drag. However, to the people who continue to suggest that Jordans are not meant to be played in, work onyour game.

Jordans are not meant for the WEAK, NO GAME HAVING, FOOTWEAR SUPERMODELING NON BALLPLAYERS to play in.

I wear size 12 / 12.5 and Its hard to find J's in that size for a good price

Size 12 is always one of the first to sell out.

As a size 16 I have to say that 2-3 years ago I could cop the hottest j's less than retail on the regular. Just wait a while and I used to scoop offeastbay on the regular. J's used to consistently be sold in sizes through 18. Lately JB has rarely gone above a 16 for J's. I think it started with the23. I had the HARDEST time getting a pair of size 16's. I finally copped a pair after they popped up on shoetrends a couple weeks back.

So while I feel you Jking...you still got it much easier than us sasquatch foot havin' cats.

well i'm a size 12, and when retros come out the few stores that get retros get like two of each size but always four or five 12s must be were you live

Just hit up ebay and stuff I go on lots of website sneakerfather has some heat. plus check the b/s lounge

i feel for you guys, jordan has a size 13 foot and the fact that size 13 J's are hard to find is absurd

the thing is..

they only produce what store/chain buyers order.

orders are usually done about 6-9 months before they hit retail -- the time between that is when the production and shipping take place.

thus, the best thing that you could probably do would be to try to find the person that does the ordering for your local store/chain.. and see if you canconvince them to order more of your size, semi-guaranteeing that you'd buy them ('cause who would want boats just sitting around their store). it'sworked for me, i can't see why it wouldn't work for you.

oh, and as far as sz 12.5 goes, there is one store that almost always has that sz available - it's called NIKETOWN.

I thought OP was going to start talking about how he wears sz 15 or somethin...12/13 really aren't hard to find at all.

I wear a size 15 and it is a pain to find some models/CWs...

My local store always say the same thing: "Oooooh. We had 1 size 15 come in, but it's gone already." Even on release day.

Then to top that off, getting deals on eBay is impossible. Go into the P/C section and they will say the price should be lower than a normal size, butactually, you have to pay more because either A) the seller will say "Rare size" and tack on another $30 or B) 6-10 bigfoot's start fighting overit because it's the only one on eBay..
