Dee Brown Reebok Omni Pump Lite re-release

Because he wore the omni zone II, not the omni lite. It's a higher cut version and it didn't have white leather accents. I mean they're pretty much the same, but technically they're different.
 
update - just got my pair in from PYS. I went 1/2 size down because I felt reebok always fit 1/2 size bigger. the iverson signature line I've always gone 1/2 size down from my true size and that worked out good. I would say get your true size for these. these don't run big at all IMO. I think it's the bulky tongue / padding that makes the shoe fit snug. I don't even think the pump works. the release button doesn't work either. it's just there for show

I personally don't think it does. I kept trying to pump and the release button doesn't even release any air out of the tongue. my cousin has the Michael Chang tennis ones and his doesn't work either. like I said, I think it's for show. correct me if I'm wrong somebody
 
in my martin voice. damn! damn! damn!.... still a classic, an a nice looking shoe,but that's  one of the special things about these,( hence the pump) oh well ,thanks bro appreciate the info.

yea someone needs to clarify this. i already have the michael changs where the pump dont work...


you mean to tell me reebok raised the price 15 bucks with a non working pump???

this shoes the most uncomfortable pump shoe in the line. that pump better work

I'm not going to stress on these as much anymore. If I see them when I visit the mall on the 14th and if the pump isn't functional, I'll pass. I grew up wanting a pair of pumps just to pump the tongue and release the air. A non-functional tongue will just ruin the demand for those who grew up wanting a pair
 
i don't believe major retailers like footlocker, finishline, champs, footaction, eastbay will be carrying these.   Finishline and Eastbay tweeted me saying they have no info on this release on June 14th
 
I saw them on someone's release calendar can't remember who

I know for a fact shoe palace will have em tho

Yeh, I researched after I posted...and kind of used common sense with the whole "lite" terminology....thanks for the info. though

On another note that sucks if the pump doesn't work. Maybe that's why they are the omni lite.  Still copping.

Got my pair in from Reebok.com yesterday. Ordered them on Monday I think it was and already had them Wednesday.

Some comparisons from the previous retro. Left side is the last retro and right side is today's. OG box on the previous. Leather quality is the same on both. New ones fit larger/more tts. Pump button painted different and not nearly as crisp on the new one. Tongue and upper is more padded on previous retro.

Overall the new ones are nice but the edge goes to the previous retro. If you dont have any these are still a must.

If they made the tongue padding thinner in the new pairs, that's a positive in my book. The tongue on the last retro is way too thick.
