Nah he been saying on twitter that this is not an album its a mixtape and that he doesnt like to use other peoples beats because at the end of the day he might could make a dollar off it

bout to light up and give this a listen or 2
This sh is getting annoying. This is just what the labels are saying now, it's not an album...it's a mixtape. This is so it has that "street appeal" and so it doesn't look like a flop. Obviously this is an album, all original beats..first actual hard copy in stores! How the ##%% is this not an album. Either way, I'm still copping it, been waiting on this for mad long
It has nothing to do with what the label says. Slime Flu was always intended to be a mixtape and if you recall it was originally supposed to come out back in April. That was until E1 said that they're willing to buy the project and put it in stores. At that point the project had to be changed so that all the songs can be cleared for retail. It was just about getting paid for something he was about to do for free. At the end of the day, regardless of if people buy it, the music will still get out. On top of all that, the songs that were originally going to be on Slime Flu, but couldn't due to clearances, will still be on the version hosted by Drama.

Had to cop for $16 SMH, way too much for a CD. I was tight! Amazon had it for $18 and Target didn't even get it.

How does anything you just typed make it any different? Drake put out a mixtape and then they sold it. Everyone is following the same pattern now. Drake, Waka Flocka Flame, Vado and a few others. You trying to tell me that he just handed in the mixtape? Nah, they rerecorded mad songs and made an album. That's all I'm saying, it's just corny. How is this NOT an album? Please someone explain to me what is the point of calling this a mixtape?
Does anyone have good version of "Talk to 'Em" with NO DJ and with Cam'ron on it...I still haven't found one

I was watchin' this XXL clip of Vado buying it and even he looked a lil shocked when it rang up for like $18.50

Whoever distributed that done $*@$*+ him up...People don't even like to spend 10 dollars on a album...but 19 dollars for a mixtape???

because da initial intent was to release this for free....eminem considers da reup album a mixtape even though at da very last minute they decided to charge for it.

I like the album. That %+#+@ on Bullets and Gunsmoke ruined the song.

 Cam sucked on Shooter.

Who was sampled on the Crimesquare hook where someone says, "I flood the streets with drugs..."?

This is a classic in my eyes but alot of others will say otherwise cause it has a 1990 *@! type of feel to it,i could see this album going gold in the 90s.it doesnt sound like anything thats out right now,i think cam shouldve held off on the dipset reunion for another year and helped vado promote this more than what he did.People are feelin vado more than that dipset reunion right now but hes not getting that push from cam like he was getting from the start cause jim and juelz came back.It looks like when cam and vado got a huge buzz from the boss of all bosses series all them backstaberz came back to hop on cams nuts again cause he had a young *$#$+ like vado buzzin hard.Cam and vado shouldve performed speakin in tongues at the awards and jim and juelz shouldve been in the cyphers.

juelz already did da cipher...and jim too fancy for that

most of hiphop's classics came from da 90's so im in lock step with that....i wont say this persay is a classic, but its heavily in rotation at da minute
