STREET FIGHTER

Claw was broken in ST. No way they'll go back to that version of him .

I agree. But those were the only two games I enjoyed playing with him in. After that, they added all of that mask and claw nonsense plus he was clunky without a lot of options.

ST is probably my favorite version of SF. I love SFA2 (despite the broken CC and AC), TS and probably Super IV.

ST and CvS2 Vega

Vega looks interesting. His V-trigger sounds good. I can't wait to see who else is in the cast.

Vega is the 2nd best character behind O. Sagat.
ST is the goat. I like SSIV but hate FA, weird wake ups, the backgrounds and music. My only issue with ST when it came out was SF2 was tired by that time. Everyone had moved onto MK2, NBA Jam TE, Darkstalkers, etc.

And if we're being technical. Akuma is the best lol. Then we got O Sagat and ST Claw. ST Deejay, ST Boxer, ST Ryu, etc are all good too.

I forget Akuma is even in the game lol.

oh yea...that was by far my favorite

unless we're throwing in MVC2. (best fighting game of all time)

Saw that Claw has two styles like Gen. Ugh. And when he loses his claw, he's stuck with non-claw style so you have to learn both styles. It's a cool new wrinkle to the character. Wish he didn't dress like 16th century Spanish aristocrat.

I like the Seinfeld blouse personally. I'm still just really picky on the fact that this game takes place before SF3.

His clothes, the mask, his claws all add meaning to dude's mental state. Never seen anyone dress like that
It all adds up when potraying him as a psycho though and he's very unique when it comes to design.

Capcom Gives Vega Motion Inputs in Street Fighter V, Combofiend: “It’s not final by any means.”

Earlier today, the official Street Fighter account on Twitter sent out a rather interesting message concerning the latest character to be revealed in Street Fighter V, Vega. While typically a charge character, the tweet in question revealed that the Spanish ninja will instead control with motion inputs.

The developers have made similar changes to other characters in Street Fighter V, such as removing the piano inputs on Chun-Li’s Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightning Leg) in favor of a quarter-circle, but the idea of Vega being altered so drastically piqued our interests. Could it be possible that one of his stances would retain the usual charge motions while the other took on this altered control scheme?

Seeing as these questions weren’t answered by other reports, we contacted Capcom community manager and Street Fighter V associate producer Peter “Combofiend” Rosas for clarification. “We’re just testing him out without charge motions at this moment in time,” he explained. “It’s not final by any means. If it’s a good fit, it may stay. If it’s too strong, it could go. We were just giving players a heads up so they’re not in utter shock when they use him at Gamescom.”

With Capcom’s added emphasis on offensive play in Street Fighter V, it’s no surprise that these changes have been made, as charge characters tend to be played rather defensively due to their controls. Now let’s see if this particular adjustments sticks.

Not SF news, but this match from unstreamed losers Marvel at Evo. Clock vs fchamp. Especially the last game around 7 mins. strider doom mixups yuck

Was that clockworks magneto doing disruptor into magnetic tempest in the air :wow:

Other than that not really impressed with doom infinites or anyone who mains Vergil for that matter. Very cheesy combination of characters. Where is ageojoe these days? I played against him at final round as a casual and that was the year he was on fire. His Rocket Raccon is amazing. He commended my frank west as well :wow:

But I hate that they're trying to change the input motion on a lot of classic characters. Vega wouldnt feel right as anything else but a charge character. His play style is solely based off of footsies and lowblocks...

And when they say "circular motion" are they referring to qcf/qcb/half circle or full 360 motion...

No, that's F. Champ. And they said 360s aren't in the game anymore. He's gonna be a combination of the other motions.

Clock has one of the best point Vergils and doesn't use him anchor. But those ridiculous Doom and Strider incoming mixups are unfair. That tracking vajra

I never understood doing infinites and calling it fun... thats just me. Like its cool you have the skill to do that but still doesnt seem fun to do.
