Damn at that gif. Those Mara girls are fire. Need another Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movie to be made for some more Rooney.

Take it for what it's worth....

Matthew Vaughn ("X-Men: First Class") is currently doing press for his latest comic book movie Kingsman: The Secret Service. While chatting with Flickering Myth, Vaughn revealed that he has seen Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot. “I’ve seen the movie, it’s good,” Vaughn said. “I thought Chronicle was a fantastic movie and [Josh] Trank has gone off and done his version of Fantastic Four. If you like Chronicle, then you’ll like this. We’re all backing Josh Trank’s vision. And hopefully the world will like Josh Trank’s vision.”
Chronicle was a pretty solid live action ripoff of Akira.

So I should be expecting a ripoff of a ripoff just loosely based off a comic this time.

Hope this movie epically fails so FOX is forced to give it back. Disney should just spring some animated film the same month this releases. Where's The Incredibles 2 when you need it? :nerd:

Why would fix be forced to give anything back. Disney/ marvel aren't ever going to get those properties back unless these companies start gojng into major bankruptcy. Maybe Sony, but fox is never giving up Xmen/ ff

Also I can't stand for this Rooney slander. Her in Social Network

There is a clause for the rights to revert to Marvel if the film bombs if i recall correctly.. But it literally has to be the worst flop of all time for that to happen.

I don't remember any "flop clause" but Fox already has a sequel planned and a crossover with XMen soon after (or even before the F4 sequel) so it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Love it or hate it but everyone's gripe about these studios to follow Marvel and creating a long timeline might backfire. Yeah there will be more cohesive stories but quality might not reach Marvel/Disney levels and it makes reverting rights more difficult.

Rooney or Kate are good in my book. Don't know about the FF movie. I'll make no assumptions till I see something. Chronicle was ok.

Kate is extremely good..

Rooney would still get it.. She got a wild side thing going

I liked Chronicle too and as long as Trank doesn't abuse the first person camera pov (or just not use it at all) then I think it can be done, with that tone it won't feel cheesy or corny, it'll have a more serious tone which I don't mind after the first 2 FF films we got.

Also, F4 teaser/trailer will/might come with the Kingsman.

It's not really a clause, it's just that if the film doesn't make over a certain amount it's "bankrupt"  and they have to forfeit the right... Bankrupt in hollywood is a really loose word though

I heard about it a while ago so i don't know if it's still a thing

As long as they keep making movies it doesnt matter if it bankrupts. They can make movies that do less than $5 million at the box office and they will still keep the rights until sequels stop entering into preproduction.

If F4 loses money or greatly under performs (lose money, barely break even) I don't see how FOX doesn't just give it back or they could wait and let it revert contractually.

Also if this movie sucks and doesn't do good in the box office it messes up their alleged plans for a X-Men/F4 crossover movie (a la Avengers). I can't see them trotting out the cast of a failed movie in to the only comic franchise they still make money from. That's like purposely making a healthy person bang somebody with AIDs raw just cuz you might get more money out of it. I don't see the "never" when it comes to Fantastic Four and Fox. You can see the difference in that they made ****** X-Men movies and just changed directors and time periods. When they made the last bad F4 movie they didn't make another one until they HAD to.

Granted I see your point of FOX not being in a rush to give it back but they can't sit on the F4 indefinitely or think they can wait until the last minute to make another reboot.

Also yeah, Rooney aint all that bad but it's Kate all day.

You just described what used to go on in the pron industry

I really believe Fox would just throw F4 into a crossover film even if the F4 movie bombs.

Jake Gyllenhaal Eyed to Replace Tom Hardy in David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’

Jake Gyllenhaal may not have received an Oscar nomination for “Nightcrawler” on Thursday but he could still end the day with a win, as David Ayer is courting his “End of Watch” star to replace Tom Hardy as Rick Flag in “Suicide Squad,” an individual familiar with the comic book project has told TheWrap.

Warner Bros. had no comment, while a representative for Gyllenhaal didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Hardy was forced to exit the project because Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s “The Revenant” is going over schedule into mid-March, after which Hardy will be needed to promote WB’s “Mad Max: Fury Road.”
