The Dark Knight Strikes again ain't even half as good as TDKR. I would like it more if they do animate other Batman arcs like Hush or No Man's Land. Or better yet... Knightfall :smokin

While The CW ended up not producing a pilot for their potential Wonder Woman series, Amazon, this spring, we heard at the time the network was still developing the project. Today, I asked The CW's president, Mark Pedowitz, if Amazon could still come to the network.

"Oh god, yes!," was his enthusiastic reply. "It is being redeveloped. We’re waiting for the script to come in. We have not seen it yet. We are preparing to pilot it off-cycle should the script be what we want it to be."

Pedowitz added, "We do not want to do something that doesn’t work for that particular character. It’s the trickiest of all the DC characters to get right." Amazon is expected to focus on a young Diana, before she takes on the Wonder Woman name, a la Smallville.

Allan Heinberg wrote the previous version of the Amazon script. He is no longer on the project, and the current draft is being written by Aron Eli Coleite. Like Heinberg, who wrote for TV series like The O.C. and comic books like Young Avengers, Coleite has written for both TV (Heroes, The River) and comic books (Ultimate X-Men).

I'm all for diversity but I want a fantastic four movie finally done the right way. Casting Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm would bring to much negative publicity and attention. And am I the only person who doesn't want quick silver or Scarlett witch in avengers 2

I don't know much about the Luke Cage character. First time i've seen him was when I was watching The Avengers cartoon yesterday with Iron Fist. Antman hired them to get his suit back.
 
Joss Whedon Confirms Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Talks Iron Man Returning

A rumor started a few weeks ago that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch would be joining the team in the upcoming Avengers sequel. Further signs continued to point towards the characters' inclusion in the film and now writer/director Joss Whedon has confirmed the characters will appear in an interview with IGN. In the interview, he spoke about their involvement in the film.

"You know, they had a rough beginning. They’re interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn’t necessarily agree with The Avengers. So they’re not there to make things easier. I’m not putting any characters in the movie that will make things easier.”

We've learned exclusively at SuperheroHype that Irish actress Saoirse Ronan is the "prototype" for their version of the Scarlet Witch, but no casting has taken place.

Whedon also spoke about how the ending to Iron Man 3 (spoiler ahead!) showed a potentially changed Tony, but he's still tied to The Avengers.

“Well, I feel like in Iron Man 3, even though he said, ‘I’ve changed' -- he blew up his remote suits, but I don’t think anybody thinks he doesn’t have one anymore. The question is, if The Avengers are called, does he show up? And the answer is, ‘Yes!’”

Casting for The Avengers 2 is still coming together with many rumors flying around about potential actors being replaced. Regardless of who ultimately assembles for the sequel, Marvel's The Avengers 2 hits the big screen on May 1, 2015.

edit: Maybe make him Asian, since Marvel's trying to get diverse and if there was anyone to change the race of, it'd be him.

My #1 would be Daniel Henney who played Agent Zero in Wolverine.

Then Will Yun Lee who's playing Silver Samurai in the next Wolverine.

After that...maybe Han from the F&F movies?

I agree, that I wish they'd stay with the X-Men, but I trust Joss with the characters.

I never understood why he was white and there were no real asian superheroes.

If anything, almost no one would be mad if they made him Asian.
 
u know i hope in avengers 3 hulk goes rougue so that at the end of avengers they send hulk into space at the end THEN they follow it up with a planet hulk film followed by a wwhulk film thats how it should happen
 
Planet Hulk and WW Hulk would be :smokin

But with Thanos in the background, I think they're kinda going the Infinity War route. I maybe wrong though.

If they are going to make Iron Fist Asian, the best guy to cast is Byung-hun Lee, Storm Shadow from GI Joe. Dude is supposedly the Justin Timberlake of Asia or something like that, that'll catapult the international numbers to the roof from that dude alone (in Asia anyways).

Ahhh...I haven't seen the GI Joes, and didn't realize that was the same guy as I Saw the Devil. Or that he was famous like that. He'd be awesome.
