Not going to happen, Marvels heroes are spread throughout different studios, specifically Spiderman who is owned by Sony and Spiderman is an integral part of the Civil War arc.

I think people just want to keep ignoring that fact. I keep seeing people post that they hope the Xmen movies are terrible so that Marvel can get the rights back, no way in hell they are getting the rights back unless the studio goes bankrupt and sells it back to them.

Yup, same with Spiderman, no matter how much the movie sucks, they are still cash cows. The studio has to stop production for 5 years or the studio to give up on the franchise for it to go back to Marvel and those are two franchises that will still deliver money no matter how bad it is. I mean they are banking on merchandise sale alone.

I just think it was a cool idea in the comics (one of the few story arcs ive read) and think it would make an awesome movie

I think I'd rather have them make well done animated mini series of Civil War and Blackest Night. They'll be better executed than live action movies. I borrowed the graphic novels from my cousin and they were both fun to read. Anyone recommend current ones I should read?
