NT's LEGAL Gun Thread UPDATE...First Youtube Firearm Review Page 61

experience is the greatest teacher. as for what caliber rifle you wanna use, move up a step. Id personally say try a .223 rifle next. a 5.56 is pretty much the same caliber. rifles are much easier to shoot than a pistol though so dont be scared. have fun man as long as you're being safe at all times.
Appreciate the advice, I'll probably try that out next. The people at my range definitely doesn't seem to take rooks too nicely or something.

even though it loses half its weight...it loses half its weight inside the victim...and whoever else is behind them apparently. and still, clearing all 20" of gel and not even APPEARING to slow down at all is not good. not good at all.

Gel alone means nothing though. Gotta put it to FBI testting which they mysteriously do not.. they dont even have the velocities listed

now we gotta wait for the youtube ballistic experts to test and reveal the true numbers. Seems kinda gimmicky but at the same time again that wound channel n the gel is beyond nasty. Ill reserve judgement. Also curious as to the price point of these. Cant be pretty

Is the keltec setup for glock mags or beretta mags? I was looking super hard at them a few months ago, but I didnt pull the trigger just because I knew how much they went for before the panic of '13, and couldn't pay almost double. FWIW, if i could have found one for $450 or under, I probably would have tried to make that move.

Missed ur post yoda lol

Its the glock version so if shtf i can run same mags and ammo and have a long(ish) gun and secondary rdy to roll. My Sr45 wouldnta fetched more than 400... def came up! Too much cold n snow to shoot so ive jus been fondling her haha sturdier than i thought

I see them goin for 7-8 all day still. Dude messed up haha barring anything unforseen i guess but it feeds to the chamber no prob and ive heard that bein the biggest issue overall

That keltec folded up under the seat with a couple of 33 rounders? Lights out.

FedEx dropped off a package for me today. Finally found some powder in stock online and had to make that move. Hazmat fees and shipping were $40 though. First pic is what I ordered: 4 lb jug of vhitvouri N340, 1 lb of N310, and 2k wolf small pistol primer.

Varies with 9mm being the cheapest, .40 somewhere in the middle, and .45 at the highest price. Start between $450 used and $550 new. In Texas gun shows are the cheapest. Not sure about anywhere else. Best prices online http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php they ship for free usually and have FFL agreements in place to do firearms transfers with a ton of gun shops around the country. Also browse around on http://www.slickguns.com/ and http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ they have good deals often too.

Thanks dangerousmind
Placed an order with my local shop $628 total for the .40 XDm compact 8)

I'm really stuck between the Glock 30S and the 3.8 compact .45 right now. The .40 round is too snappy for me. I don't notice it on 9mm, .357, or .45 at all.
ur saying the .40 is more snappy to you than the .45? seems a little backwards on paper. but whatever YOU feel more comfortable with is whats important, right?

Ironically yes lol. I don't feel anything shooting the .45 but that damn .40 cal S&W jumps like nothing I've ever seen. My groupings have sucked with every .40 cal I've ever shot. That's why I got rid of my full size XDM.

i like it... the xdm is weighed nicely, and the different grip pieces help with making the gun feel good in the hand.. order the pearce grip pinky extension feels even better with the shorter magazine...

im about to get my glock 26 slide done in nickel boron and then add a manual trigger safety to it. im sorry, i just dont feel comfortable with my glock having no safety. miss me with the "thats the point of a glock" talk tho. i know, i understand, i still dont care.

I've always defended my previous XDM not having a steadfast safety with the "It's not meant to be played with." statement. Are you afraid it'll go off in your holster or something?
