NT's LEGAL Gun Thread UPDATE...First Youtube Firearm Review Page 61

Shot one at the range last time I went. The grips on S&W1911's are so beautiful

(excuse the iphone pic and the background

, in the process of moving)

This is from about 15 yards. Wasn't too much recoil from the .45 since 1911's is so damn heavy lol

Didn't take a pic of the 1911 itself, but it had a black finish with dark walnut grips, might have been this one:
Definitely gotta get me one of these

Little range trip this weekend. Sighted in the ACOG, got it dead on at 100 yds. Got the SRS on the .22 at 50 yds and somehow left a brick of 500 rounds without noticing til I got home

...all in all it was a good day.

buy once, cry once lol. It wss hard to drop over a grand on a sight but once it came in I didn't care about the money I just blew. I'm on the hunt for a deal on a mini 1.5x ACOG for my .22 so I can put the SRS on the 9mm AR I'm building.

Sounds like a good time. I'll get a 9mm setup eventually. Spent like $65+ for a box of 120 5.56 rounds last Wednesday. Upwards of 50¢ per shot :x

Most my parts are still in the mail but here's a sneak peek of what came in so far..
800

If anyone needs bulk ammo cabellas has bulk 7.62x39 and .223 stacked to the ceiling. Comes in plastic ammo boxes too which is nice.

I have a 7.5 AR pistol in the works ill post soon.
Also have a 16" AR in the works as well
And another that needs an upper that I sold for a $200 profit during the scare

Glock is always a solid choice but as a first handgun, especially if you're completely new to firearms, I would suggest something with a manual safety. Just my 2¢.

Cool,  I hear good things about the Glock 42

Go with a glock 19. It's pretty much the perfect size, small enough to effectively conceal, large enough to shoot well, enough accessories and support. You can almost never go wrong with a glock in 9mm.

I gotta do something like this as soon as I get my guns.

This "Not One More" campaign is stupid.

Incredibly stupid. I'm sorry the kid died but there is nothing that can be done about gun violence in america. Period. We are the most armed nation in the world, even if you slow down the flow of new purchases theres still tons of guns already out there that will just change hands without a 4473 and background check, any preventative measure they put in place will only deter someone who wants to lawfully purchase a weapon and probably not go out of their way to obtain one illegally. Someone hell bent on committing some type of crime will still get their hands on whatever they need to get it done. These crimes bring out the stupidest campaigns and scares that drive the price of everything up and bring out the hoarders buying up entire shipment of ARs "just in case"
